Two Catholics Spew Lies about Galileo, Angels & Demons Starts Friday

Do you ever have anything good to say about another human being?

Yes. But not about stupid human beings.

From what I've seen, you are all negativity.

Well, given what the following statement says about your vision, we don't need to worry about what you've "seen" and what you haven't.

Brown's book is a timeless classic that will go down in history on par with Huckleberry Finn.

Except for the plot, characters, imagery, pacing, and vocabulary, it's nearly perfect. Well, all right. Except for those factors, it was ... mediocre. But those factors dragged it down substantially.

You want something positive. Um,.... how about : "the best feature of the book was the font in which it was printed!"

I understand. Some people do not have the intellectual capacity to appreciate classic literature.

Well, I would not say that it is a classic just yet.

However, I am rather amazed at some of the opinions put forth regarding this book of fiction. Different strokes for different folks is a concept lost on some.

Angels & Demons = Instant Classic

WTC 7 = Moons of Jupiter

Galileo Galilei = Galileo the JREFer

LOL, this thread is actually quite fun to read with the OP on ignore! As a favour to those of us who wish to ignore him, please don't quote him either.

I read The Da Vinci Code. It was crap. The writing style was that of Nancy Drew or The Hardy Boys, and I expect better than that outside of the juvenile section of the library.
I expect better than that in the juvenile section of a library. The Adventure of Paddington Bear completely qualifies there!!

Dan Brown novels aren't even fit for toilet paper.

I've never read Dan Brown's books, but based on this post alone, I know they're garbage.

The nice thing about Dan Brown's writing style is that you only have to have read one of his books to have read them all. While setting and characters may change, he is going to take you down the same route to get you through the plot of the book. It's hard to read more than one book written by him without getting an intense sense of déjà vu as he trots out the same plot devices at the same time in plot again and again.

Just saw the film. It's really good. I approve of the way I am portrayed in the film.
