Actually the tapes were released nearly 5 years after the commission report and the investigation was done. My point is why take so long? The reasons I remember given for not releasing them was national security or investigation. The tapes clearly have nothing that threatens security and the investigation was over way before they were finally released. The point is that deluded americans are still americans and if they want the damn tapes then the FOIA applies to them too. I do not need the tapes, I do not care what they show, this is not about my opinions it is about the CT nuts.

Why would I name a science backed conclusion of his when I have never claimed he had one? The only thing I have claimed is that he believes what he claims and so I personally dont believe he is trying to gain anything other than what he believes to be the truth.

You must be inept too since you failed to stop 19 terrorist on 911, warn anyone, or intercept plane, or shoot down planes; ? Are you in the government?

The tapes were entered into evidence for a CRIMINAL trial, richman; to have released them right away could potentially compromise the outcome of the trial. Whether they didn't show the plane or did, doesn't matter; they were considered EVIDENCE. They could NOT be released until the trial was complete. And as I recall, that took nearly five years. Hence the delay.

The government was not inept is any way that shows that anything but 19 Islamists and 4 hijacked commercial jets caused all the death and destruction on 9/11.

tapes are often seized on a dail basis by police investigating crimes and held on to for years. This proves nothing.

I provided the link that stated the tapes were seized, if they were not the property of the government and so the public's as well then they would not have been released based on the FOIA.

The 911 commission report states several mistakes made that day. Several people resigned over the intelligence failures. The DHS was created because of said failures.
 
Nevermind, I thought we were discussing the footage from the Pentagon Security Checkpoint, not the Citgo.
