Ok despite the fact you said there were no other tapes you may have a point about the ones from citgo. But the tapes from the pentagon were on government land and already government property. This is my whole point, the tapes should automatically be public property. You know, of the people for the people by the people and stuff. It took them 5 years to release them, how can you say they should not have to if they don't want to? Did it really take 5 years to make sure there were no other identifiable people on them? Was that the reason given on why they were not released? You see it is not about anything other than the government not being beholden to the people, I dont understand why people cannot see that this is my main point.

We have all the tapes from that side. They only tape what goes on at sally points.

I quoted from a web site http://www.debunk911myths.org/topics/Pentagon_security_video which mentions the confiscation of the citgo tapes. I know that the tapes show nothing and have said this from the beginning, my point has always been why did they not release them from the beginning? I am not postulating that there is some conspiracy behind why they weren't released either. I just think it would have been better for all concerned if they had let the people see it for themselves. 911 was a dramatic event and anything to ease people's fears would be the duty of the government to provide withen law and reason.

Jones may very well be insane but I think he believes what he says. If that makes him more insane so be it but it does not make him a liar. A liar is someone who does not believe what they say. I just don't think he is deserving of the venom and hatred that seems to be dealt him. If he truly believes what he says then what should he do? should he just shut up and pretend that life is all good?

How long is it supposed to take to release tapes that have been entered into evidence in a criminal trail, especially a capital felony trial?

What scares me about the Truth Movement is how its stupidity has turned a horrid national tragedy into an internet joke.

You are again assuming the un proven. What evidence have you that there are government-owned tapes of the flight path? There was no sally point which had to be monitored that would require a camera pointed at the approach other than the parking lot cameras.

You are pitching a hissy fit over evidence that has no reason to exist.

Jesus-jumped-up-bald-headed-old-christ! Once again I have not said that there were tapes of any flight path and have repeated several times that the tapes in question probably showed nothing. The point was that they should have just shown the tapes from the beginning. I dont personally care if the tapes had mickey mouse smoking crack on them. My original point was that their refusal to show the tapes gave fuel for the CT nuts to fill in the "gaps" with their ignorant theories. The government feeds these people's appetite for hoo ha when they withhold things that the people ask for based on "national security". I did say that if the tapes showed anything it would have been nothing but a plane hitting the pentagon which is what they wanted to see. But it took them 5 years to show us the one blurry image they had and said image showed what? A plane hitting the pentagon. By then though there were so many rampant theories that the video was already discarded as evidence to these CT people before it was seen. They finally released the citgo tapes and the hotel tapes and they showed nothing, so no national security problem there. The hotel tape showed the flash from the explosion but that was it. Why take so long to appease the people when the people are supposed to be running things?

My guess would be the psychological maxim that appeasing crazy people only feeds into their delusions. I mean, it's not like when the tapes were released the Truth movement went "I see! Well, it looks like I was wrong".

Citgo station is on government property, it is the gas station for the government personnel. I think if the tapes had shown something they would have released them if they would not change the case they were working on. But with many witnesses and flight 77 in the Pentagon why do you need to have tapes showing how the evidence got there?
Jones is a liar and insane.
He said this was cut by thermite. It is a clean up cut after 911.

Richman2112 how was the failure to intercept the hijacked aircraft evidence of anything except how hard it is to intercept aircraft traveling 500mph+ that are making a beeline for their target and aren't communicating what their target is or that there is a target at all?

There is the DOD guidelines for hijacked planes please show me anything in those guidelines that was done on 911. Should they have shot them down? No probably not. What would you suggest though that they follow behind them and watch them fly into the towers? They did nothing, pure and simple. after the first plane hit they still had no response, and so on and so on. They failed miserably and they failed with the best military in the world.
