I would like to see anything 16.5 receives as well.

As for this thread, I say consign it to the damn wastes where it belongs.

I want off this ride. [qimg]http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-gonk.gif[/qimg]

If and when I receive a response, I will likely start a new follow up thread.

Don't start thinking about it again until February or so.

Cripes, I guess I will have to be the person who posts whatever the NSA sends.

I keep waiting for a call from the FBI to find out where I got the copy of his acknowledgment letter.

Bumpity Bump For my FOIA request.

February update: still under review, no timeline given, no details.

Annoying.

Diary this for Smarch.

The topic is the FOIA request, not an individual.
Replying to this modbox in thread will be off topic  Posted By: chillzer9o

Bump for 16.5 ?

Nada.

The NSA sent out the response to three other agencies for their comments (I guess), and no doubt the request hit the back of their queues.

Will April shower us with a response? Unlikely.

Put it in your diary anyhow.

ULTIMA1. If you work where you say, you'll have no trouble correctly answering the following questions:

How many phones are there on your desk, and what color(s) are they?
Describe, in detail, what is displayed in the top center of your screen at all times during the work day.
How many digits are there in an "internal" phone number?
What is your internal phone number?
What organization (alphanumeric identifier) do you currently work for?
What is your SID?

(None of the answers to these questions are classified.)

Sorry it has taken so long to get back but have been working on a lot of research.

Please be adult enough to admit the following answers to your questions are correct.

1. There are 2 phones, 1 black and 1 gray.

2. The classification of the system is displayed at the top center of the screen.

3. An internal phone number consist of the last 4 digits.

4. I work for S2J13 but might be changing.

5. My SID is remisne.

Translation: My computer fried and I had to save up for a new one. But look! this one has spell check!

There were 6 questions put to you, by the way.

Results 1 - 10 of about 209,000 for how many phones on desk NSA office. (0.28 seconds)

Took me .28 seconds to find this:

The NSA is equipped with two phone systems. The gray phones, which are guaranteed to be secure, and the black phones, which are not. Any time someone picks up a black phone at the NSA, everybody in the room is supposed to stop talking immediately (they apparently know how easy it is to bug a phone). Of course, there's really no point in trying to get a pizza delivered to an NSA office anyway.

Now Roger.. any update on your FOIA request? You said you would have the unclassified document by January. Here we are... middle of March.

When are you going to be adult enough to admit.. you gut nuttin?

Have you got a link to the document discussed in the OP? It should be in by now.

1. There are 2 phones, 1 black and 1 gray.
But they aren't actually that color. What physical color are they?

2. The classification of the system is displayed at the top center of the screen.
And, specifically, that is?

3. An internal phone number consist of the last 4 digits.
This is incorrect. I was using "internal" as a euphemism for "'secure".

5. My SID is remisne.
So when I look you up in LDAP on Monday, you'll be there?

I did also ask for your internal number (by which we now know I man "secure"). Why did you not provide it?

My God. You saved your second post to respond to him answering your first? That's some patience...or apathy...but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume patience.
