Hey, those of you who've been to TAMs before, is there really time for all this, plus the "official" after-hours events?

I was sure I wouldn't want to leave the hotel, but I *love* roller coasters.

Last year I think we did the roller coaster on Thursday . Tamazon? wowbagger? anyone remember? Hutch was supposed to go too, but that didn't work out.

Probably not "all", but certainly "some". Whatever you miss, you can do next year!
 
I'm up for rollercoasters... normal rollercoasters... but ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that particular one. No way, no how, absolutely never in my life. Roller coasters are supposed to be fun.

Yup, Thursday around 10 or 11am I believe. Hutch organized it and we were to meet him in the lobby but he had a medical emergency so we just went with whoever did show up. This was before getting any name tags or other form of TAM attendee identification so it was a little hard finding people but it worked out in the end.

I still say the Sahara looks good. I did the Big Shot at the Stratosphere many years ago and it really wasn't that exciting and being dangled over the edge just isn't as fun as a roller-coaster. How far is the Sahara from the South Point and how would we get there? No handy monorail this time.

Added a very excited yes to roller-coastering. Might be a no for my sis though who is not as much of a thrill seeker as I am.

Also a maybe for the guns and nukes. Just the guns part. Shooting a big gun last year was fun.

Should we try to divide the guns 'n nukes trip? I'm up for guns myself, but I've seen the nukes, so there seems to be some value in doing so.

Both Spawn and I are far more interested in shooting guns than seeing nukes, so splitting the trip would work for us. Or we could just cab back after the Gun Shop while others go on to the nuke museum.

That looks like a lot of fun. I've done actual sky diving about six times but never the free-fall part. It is a little too pricey for me though. The guns were expensive too but I was stingy with my spending money last year and had enough left over at the end to do that. When do you think we could fit the sky diving in?

Maybe. Cost is very much an issue. I'd love to try it, but only if I can affiord it.


And I'm potentially interested in Guns/Nukes, as long as someone can convince me that it's worth doing. I've never been particularly interested in guns, but I'm willing to be evangelised...

I'd be interested in the indoors skydiving. Price seems to be $65 with a coupon they have on their webpage (duh), but maybe it's possible to squeeze that a little bit if we're a group.

All you need to do is quote the most recent post with the chart, then delete the Quote tags at the beginning and end of what you're quoting. For instance, if I try to quote the post before yours, what I'd have to delete is:


Leaving in the table in between. If you don't delete the quotes, then the next person can't update your version of the table when they try to quote your message.

What you really care about is what's between these tags:

You'll see that it has a series of lines after the first one identifying the columns of the table, like this:
