Why didn't osama bin laden just hit Israel?

Also, I don't want an islamic empire. Just like I don't want an one world communist zionist world government.

I just don't like people that use islam as a scapegoat. It's not evil islam, it's evil people.

I have many many friends that follow islam and they are very peaceful.

Doesn't work like that

Both Christian, Islamic and Judaic scripture contain nasty sections. Most followers of these cults cherry pick and only follow the nice bits. The fundamentalists and extremists follow everything including the nasty bits and consider the cherry pickers not real.

Just because your Islamic friends are peaceful it doesn't mean the religion is.

We should be thankful most people don't follow their religion properly. The world would be a much more dire situation if there were billions of fundamentalists

A good 200 of the victims of 9-11 were Jewish. Do you now consider Jews to be "your" people??

:D

I consider American citizens to be my people.

But yet, this is a round globe last time a checked and we are all humans so we are part of the human race. No blacks, no whites, no jews, no asians, no zimbabweans, just humans living and working together in peace and harmony.

Oh. I see. You think antisemites are good. I wish you had said that in the OP, so I would have known not to waste my time.

Golda meir was an Anti-semite.

That is a meaningless word and it means absolutely nothing. people use it to discredit someone but ironically it actually credits them in knowing about the conspiracy.

What about Michael Chertoff?

Michael Chertoff MAY be an Israeli national because his mother was a citizen. But he is not a citizen of Israel. He may not vote in Israeli elections.

He is the ONLY Jew in the Bush 2, Clinton, or Bush 1 administration that had any citizenship connection to Israel. No one else is either a citizen nor a national of Israel.

Its all Nazi lies.

Very few. There's nothing in the US that compares to a Madrassah, and there's no strain of Christianity that compares to Deobandi Islam. Even the most extreme fundamentalist Christianity is tame compared to what they teach in those Madrassahs.

Oh dear. A denialist

TFT, as much as you fear America's Religious Right, and I'm not saying you have no good reasons to, the US is still a secular democracy, unlike... most of the Middle East countries.

The Tin Foil Timothy vs. Malcolmxwarrior kookfight:

Malcolm X Warrior: "Atheist scum!"
Tin Foil Timothy: "Dark-ages superstititous idiot!"
MXW: "You suck!"
TFT: "You suck harder!"
MXW: "You... you... you're almost as bad as the Jews!!"
TFT: "No, it's YOU that's being the Jew here!!!"

(Silence)

MXW: "So... you hate Jews, too?"
TFT: "Wow... I guess we're not THAT different after all!"

These two guys are "The Daily Show's" Islam vs. Christianity sketch come to life.

Find me a single school in the United States that teaches a violent fundamentalist strain of Christianity. There's some pretty crazy religious groups out there, like "Kids on Fire" but even those extreme examples don't approach the sort of ideology taught in extremist Mosques and Madrassahs.

I'm not talking "we will conquer the world" or "everyone should be like us", I'm talking "it's your job to help conquer the world by force" and "everyone who isn't like us needs to be killed". I'm talking "women should be beaten to keep them under control" and "if you get your hands on a non-believer you can sell them or kill them if you like".

Well, it helps that people's voices can be heard in America through the democratic process.

The fundamentalist Christians don't need to use terrorism, they can use democracy, just like they did in California with Proposition 8, to deny certain people rights and to enact their theocratic agenda on the rest of society.

I'm aware of the significance of the secular sector, but a country that has "one nation under god" in its' pledge of allegiance and "in god we trust" on it's currency is NOT secular.

No one is silly enough to claim that there could ever be an Atheist POTUS in the near future.

And it's certainly not a democracy. That's a real laugh. The people getting to vote between TWO pre-determined candidates heavily vetted by the elite is not a democratic process.

Still, in its functions, it is secular, there is a wall between church and state.

Still, the candidates were elected by the people.

Anti-Semitism does not literally mean "hatred of Semites".

In my book it does.

Look, Anti means "against" right? And semite refers to the semitic peoples right?

So anybody that is "against" the "semitic" peoples is an "Anti-semite".

Sounds logical to me.

Akkadians — migrated into Mesopotamia in the late 4th millennium BC and amalgamate with non-Semitic Mesopotamian (Sumerian) populations into the Assyrians and Babylonians of the Late Bronze Age.[2][3]
Eblaites — 23rd century BC
Aramaeans — 16th to 8th century BC[4][5] / Akhlames (Ahlamu) 14th century BC[6]
Ugarites, 14th to 12th centuries BC
Canaanite language speaking nations of the early Iron Age:
Amorites
Ammonites
Edomites
Hebrews/Israelites — founded the kingdom of Israel and Judah, the remnants of which became the Jews and Samaritans
Knanaya
Moabites
Phoenicians — founded Mediterranean colonies including Carthage
Old South Arabian speaking peoples
Sabaeans of Yemen — 9th to 1st c. BC
Ethio-Semitic speaking peoples
Aksumites — 4th c. BC to 7th c. AD
Arabs, Old North Arabian speaking Bedouins
Gindibu's Arabs 9th c. BC
Lihyanites — 6th to 1st c. BC
Thamud people — 2nd to 5th c. AD
Ghassanids — 3rd to 7th c. AD
Nabataeans — adopted Arabic in the 4th century AD

The Hebrews are not the only semitic peoples.

Yeah, except for Michael CHertoff and dov zakheim. ;)

Yes and a Dog Biscuit is made from Dogs.

What If I redefined every word in your post so that it now read: "You are all correct I've been a fool all my life and will now reject my ignorant beliefs."

Well, then, you'd be quite correct... apart from "will now reject" part.

Please Skeptic, don't spout unfounded nonsense about the Palestinians.

Ah, if things were so simple.

As I repeatedly said, yes, there ARE Palestinians -- individual people -- who want peace. Quite a few of them in fact. I NEVER denied this. Read what I said carefully: I said THE Palestinians -- the people as a whole, the nation -- does not want peace.

I am not quibbling. I have made this very same distinction repeatedly, in many of my posts, because it's a crucial one. For example, it is quite possible, indeed certain, that there are many Palestinian people in Gaza who want peace. And yet Gaza -- the area, or city, or nation, or whatever you call it -- wants to destroy Israel. Because of their leadership and education and Arab "brothers" and numerous other reasons.

It is this -- that the Palestinians as a nation, or a people, want to destroy Israel -- that I am talking about. To give the most extreme example, the Germans, or Germany, or the German nation, wanted to kill all the Jews during WWII. This does not mean every individual German wanted to do this -- quite a few did not -- but that is irrelevant to the general conclusion.

So I am not by any means saying that all INDIVIDUAL Palestinians are bloodthirsty terrorists who want nothing but to kill the Jews. What I am saying is that this is irrelevant: THE Palestinians, or the Palestinian people, or the Palestinian nation as a whole, are like that, is beyond doubt, as the long history of the conflict proves, over and over again. They are, for instance, the only nation in the world whose #1 item in their Constitution is the urgent need to wipe another nation, Israel, off the face of the earth.
