Even if he doesn't believe the fantasy he made up, he is still crazy if you ask me. Mentally stable people don't spend thousands of hours (I would bet he has spent at least a thousand hours doing this) defending ideas they know to be BS. Well, one might do that if there is money involved, but there is no way Craig has made any money off of his crappy DVDs. Mentally stable people also don't make enemies lists with pictures of their detractors when they know their detractors are right.

"Insanity" cannot be operationally defined and even if it could be it'd be a waste of time because a label is not an explanation of behavior. In order to understand this kind of bizarre behavior one has to identify the reinforcer. The main reinforcer of his behavior comes from his cyber pals giving him a slap on the ass after he sticks it to those debunkers (normal people). Birds of feather flock together.

I don't believe Craig is "mentally unstable", although he may sound that way when he gets all exited about his theories on the radio, etc. Obviously there is some motivation he has for what he does.
Possible Motivations:
Justice - No, his evidence has never seen the light of a court room
Money - If this is his motivation, he's failing miserably
Popularity/Significance - Craig's actions on various message boards certainly seem to point this direction. I think he wants to be who Dylan Avery was in 2006.

I was just listening to Craig's phone call to Howard Stern's wrap up show. How crazy he sounds aside, I notice that he said he interviewed dozens of witnesses. Really? How many are included in their "evidence"? Could they have left a bunch of them out for some reason?

I believe that TLB was previously suspended for this same reason but let back in
I would think that for a JREF mod to again suspend him for the same reason they must now have found out more info.
