and yet again you miss the point
didnt know you had a point
and yet again you miss the point
didnt know you had a point
You tried a wee joke, I tried one back.
I showed you that not all criticizm came from western media or pro US people. Others had to resort to calling me a liar and you could not use the biased western media slur against me.
I showed you things you did not know that were wrong about Chavez and his cronies. That was my whole point.
well sure not all propaganda comes from the west.
Chavistas and anti chavistas spread propaganda in venezuela,
the coup was an example of the oppositions propaganda, when they showed only one cameraangle and lied about what can be seen. and the western media reported it all over the world. Until the trueth was shown.
but still alot people belive the first storys. in another topic BAChooser posted the story about the coup, like the coup plotters spreaded it.
and alot people talking about Chavez only know the thgs from our media.
you have friends in venezuela and have other ways to get the informations.
Most others just trust on it that our media tells us the truth.
And Chavez and others spread lies that the TV channel instigated the coup. Everyone tells things the way it suits them. You did not know that people were being denied credit for signing the petition until I showed you the links. You never mentioned the Tascon lists or the Maisanta stuff. You only mention the bad stuff after it has been pointed out to you and you compleletly lose the plot everytime anyone criticizes Chavez.
You seem to think it is only Bushie lovers and media led sheeple that criticize him. It is not. Stop being so overprotective of him and look at all he does, not just the stuff you like.
In my experience on this forum most people do not just beleive what they are told. Only 911 truthers seem to be caught up in that circle but we do not want to go there do we?
erm the TV stations was involved, they send knowingly only half of the camera angles, so noone was able to see the empty street below, the bridge, where those TV stations claimed that Chavista kill inocent protesters.
one TV station recorded stuff even before the coup and filmed people talking about deaths, hours before the first shot fell.
The TV reporters repetedly asked the army to step in. and they knew it is a coup.
you still till today did not present evidence of people beeing credits denied, you posted claims about it, no evidence.
we are here in the Politics section, alot people dont use theyr sceptical thinking when it comes to politics.
?? said:I hope I am wrong, but I believe Obama brings the same stench, to not say another word,
I have friends who were affected and I showed you blogs that showed it. Are you denying people were persecuted for signing the petition cause we have already done that one and you were shown to be wrong? My friends and the people from venezuela know better than you and me I'm afraid DC.
There are many blog and sites where people are showing how they were persecuted after the Tascon lists was published.
Chavez said that the TV station instigated the coup and they did not do that. They reported on it and they encouraged people to go and protest. Nothing wrong with that. Once again you show your bias and it is you who is one of those who do not show skepticism when it comes to Chavez.
like i said, you brought claims, but no evidence.
DC said:the TV stations did record interviews of which they knew it was lies, or atleast, it is something that will happen soon. they interviewed "witnesses" that blame chavez, there was Army people recorded pre coup, with the knowledge of the coup beeing underway.
and they did not only report, they called up for a coup. but that isnt even my problem with them, but theyr propaganda and manipulation.
Obama has already commented on Chavez, and seems indeed he is no change at all.
but i am not suprised.
So everyone is lying then are they? Nice position to hold, I gave you a link to website which showed you another side to Chavez. You knew nothing aboiut any of it yet you say you looked at both sides. I cry BS on you. You will defend anything he does and accuse ordinary venezuelans of lying even though in the next breath you say you stand for them against the US.
The people who run the blogs and the people who I know have no reason to lie. Everyone knows that people were persecuted because of the tascon list and it even went to court. Take your head out of the sand and act like an adult. People lost jobs, they were denied credit amongst other things purely because they signed a petition. This is not fair. The Maisanta list is not fair.
They did not instigate the coup. He lied. Please show me the evidence for each and everyone of your claims above.
I dont say the are liars, i said, you posted claims, but no evidence.
and what was the courts decision?
evidence about TV will follow when i am at home.
Chavez said:I am ready, and if I am healthy, God willing, I will be with you until 2019, until 2021, added the 54-year-old Chavez, seeking to propel the oil-rich but poverty-plagued country's institutional socialism to over two decades long.
And just like the old 911 days, you resort to semantics and goalpost moving. You are calling my friends and the people on the blogs liars.
You knew nothing about any of the Tascon stuff and the Maisanta stuff and you continually ignore it and pretend its not something bad. You only read and posted what you thought was good about Chavez. You have been fooled.
Obama said:Obama said his administration is open to starting talks with Chávez to improve relations, which have frayed badly since the Bush administration celebrated Chávez's brief overthrow at the hands of rebellious military officers in 2002. But in the 13-minute interview aired by Univision, Obama said Chávez had "been a force that has interrupted progress in the region."
Hugo said:The Venezuelan leader said that Obama is following orders from dark forces inside "the empire," as he refers to the United States. "If he doesn't obey the orders of the empire, they'll kill him," Chávez said, without offering details or proof.
DC link said:Obama offered conciliatory words to Cuba's government, which has recently been led by Raúl Castro, Fidel's brother. He said he wants to loosen restrictions so Cuban exiles can travel back to the island and send money to relatives, casting the moves as a first step in improving relations with the communist regime, though he said he would not end a U.S. economic embargo.
"This is a good place to begin," Obama said. "It doesn't eliminate the embargo, but it does send a signal that we are open to holding conversations." He said, though, that talks are subject to Cuba implementing democratic reforms.
Obama said Chávez had "been a force that has interrupted progress in the region."
Yep, just like Bushie. You should check your own links next time DC.
i dont say they are liars, i say you have not posted any evidence.
so how can i know it is true? just belive you?
DC said:and sure i knew about the tascon list, we had that several times now, no need to lie.
i did indeed not know about Maisanta stuff in our last debate.
DC said:It is not like you know everything![]()
DC said:i was not fooled at all, the media is fooling you.
i dont need to post the negative things, others do that from time to time, and everytime i start a topic about Chavez, the old things come up, high crime rate, tascon list, coup 1992 FARC etc etc.
its you people that did not start one single thread about the positive changes in Venezuela.
