People hate perversion. It's only natural human behavior.

Rapists, murderers, homosexuals, and child molesters, engage in perversion.

People will always reject perverts and their lifestyle.

The recent vote in Califorina backs this up.

Sunni, if you will insist on being an enormous breach of rule 10, at least try not to do it just for the sake of the offence. Especially in a post which is factually inaccurate.

How is my post inaccurate?

The majority of people in California voted against legalizing sodomite marriage.

It just shows that normal and well adjusted people are opposed to homos and their sick lifestyle.

52.3 to 47.7 is hardly any margin at all, let alone a state wide rejection of sodomy, even if you include lesbians as sodomites.

Nope, it shows that a tiny majority of the residents of California who voted wish to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry.

The sodomites (gay and lesbians) lost!! :)

And of course you'll cry foul when(not if) it is overturned by the courts. Thank the constitution that we're not ruled by mobs.

If the vote had gone the other way. Would you still refer to winners as a mob?

No it wasn't.
It simply means that, at the moment, same-sex couples can't marry. It has no other effect on their lifestyle, and as the part you seem bothered by only involves two (or more) men in private it has no effect at all.

A bunch of people who vote to remove the rights of others are a mob, just as anyone who votes for imprisonment of muslims, slavery or segregation. If the vote had upheld the constitution and rights of others, then no.

As I said, we don't live in a nation of mob rule.

On what grounds do you think California's courts will overturn an amendment to the California constitution? For better or worse (worse, IMO), Prop 8 is the constitutional law of the land in California.

I got eleventy seven bucks says it doesn't. Twenty-eight other states have constitutional amendments restricting marriage to one man and one woman, and fifteen others have laws that similarly restrict it. Some of the constitutional amendments have been on the books for almost ten years.

So forty-four states explicitly prohibit same-sex marriage. There's nothing special about California's constitutional amendment.

Read the entire text of the amendment here and tell me on what U.S. Constitutional grounds the federal government would overturn this state government constitutional amendment.

Again, I think same-sex marriage should be legalized. But I don't see it happening absent a broad, nationwide consensus, which clearly does not yet exist.
 
Not to feed the trolls, but note that SCOTUS specifically stated that laws against sexual activities between consenting adults were not constitutional.

Prop 8 has nothing whatever to do with lifestyle or practices; the folks who voted for the proposition would likely have been in favor of a "civil union" situation. They simply see "marriage" in religious terms and not applicable for same-sex couples.
 
I'd also like to know Sunni Man's definition of 'perversion'.

From the research I have seen, the definition of 'perversion' is largely culturally determined.

For instance, this family thought being the victim of rape was a violation of their family's honour made worse by the pregnancy that resulted.

And what criteria and justification did you use to make up that list?

PS: You left out man on woman anal sex or is it not a perversion?

I wonder if Sunni Man's list is supposed to be all-inclusive.

I also wonder how much Sunni Man and 1inChrist (remember him, old-timers?) would have in common. A lot, I would bet.
