yup .... things like the latests celebs to jump on the CT bandwagon, a link to a rap video, a comment about other forums and their management... that kind of thing.

I see. A sort of ScrewLooseChange-style gossip column.

Where's Boris?

The record for fastest banning after registration at LCF is three minutes, shared by posters Coritani, Mr.Herbert, and Digest. As was noted, Bell was banned before posting at PfT, and TAM was banned before posting at LCF although he didn't actually set up the account (someone did it in his name without his consent IIRC).

It'll be tough to match those feats at LCF these days; they seem much more tolerant over there than they used to be. You'd have a better shot at breaking the record over at PFT or CIT.

I'm equally impressed by Oliver's achievement. One guy gets a whole country banned? As they say, you can't make this stuff up.

Yes, it was Troy, who is actually an anti-truther (He doesn't really debunk, he just hates the truthers).

TAM:)

I am only reacting to people who attack or insult me.

Why do beleivers have to insult people for not agreeing with them?

Well people do have a tendency to get upset when people like you are apologists for the murderers of almost 3,000 persons.

You never read the two posts before you shot your mouth off eh?

No, your remote viewing has, as ever, proved unreliable. I was wondering how much of an Oil Conspiracy Theory Moron T.A.M. would be on your scale. 95%?

What is it that you know about the oil industry that means that only morons like Australian Defence Minister, Brendan Nelson and T.A.M., see a connection betwen the unprovoked invasion of Iraq and its large, high quality oil reserves?

(Note to mods: Is this gossipy enough?)

why do truthers call us:

agents, shills, traitors, cowards, Bush-lovers, goverment-loyalists, boot-lickers, dual-citizens, and liars?

JJ:

I have you on ignore, but seeing how someone quoted your question to me, I will respond.

I am probably about 10% moron, which is likely a little less than average.

TAM;)

wait..so i have actually found a home????

:D

Yes Parky. Your line of posting, your line of thinking is EXACTLY the reason behind me making this thread. I think it has a place in the grand scheme of things, but perhaps, as you have witnessed first hand with moon, each thought doesn't neccesarily need its own thread.

I work in the oil industry.

Try reading the two posts again and seeing which parts you missed.

/me waves his hand in the air.
And me. I made one post back before LC:FC came out, suggesting that Dylan's own sheep deserve to know exactly what's going on with the film and was immediately banned.

Edit: Wait, sorry. That was only 3 minutes between posting and banning, not registration and banning. My bad.

Still a noble effort. I'll put you in the record book with an asterisk.

Happy to be the main motivation behind such a successful and popular thread.

;)

Have you at least noticed that I chilled out a bit?

I work in the oil industry.

So you say, quite frequently. Do you think there is no connection between the unprovoked invasion, occupation and destruction of Iraq and its large, high quality oil reserves?

Try reading the two posts again and seeing which parts you missed.

I've tried and succeeded reading the two posts again and am still left wonderng about T.A.M.'s oil/Iraq moron score.

This Brendan Nelson?

This guy?
After his rapid promotion to Cabinet, Nelson was spoken of as a possible future Liberal leader. On 24 January 2006, then Prime Minister John Howard announced Nelson's promotion from the Education, Science and Training portfolio to the high profile Defence portfolio.

As Defence Minister, he made the controversial decision to purchase Boeing's Super Hornet aircraft instead of a fighter perceived by some to be more capable.[10]

I don't recall when Dr Nelson made his big "The Iraq War is all about Oil" statement, but if he said it during his brief stint as Defense Minister a few years ago I'll bet he got a bollocking for it from his boss.

He probably did. Politicians aren't supposed to tell the truth.

His boss was quick to reassert the reputation of politicians, by lying that oil had nothing to do with his country's involvement in the Iraq war.

"We are not there because of oil and we didn't go there because of oil, ... the reason we remain there is that we want to give the people of Iraq a possibility of embracing democracy."

Ha ha. Shame that so many have to die in order to embrace the US/UK soma.

What can I say? I didn't vote for him and I could never understand why anybody would vote for him. At least he got voted out of office and lost his seat (first time that's happened to a serving Prime Minister since the Forties) in the Nov. 2007 election.
