Welcome back Bell.

The Truth movement is dead, but the zombies keep lumbering in here from time to time grunting the old slogans "Puuullll Iiiiit", "Freeee Faaaaallll" and "NNNNOOOORRRAAADDD Staaaaand Dooooowwwwnnnnn", but then one of the regulars pulls out a twelve guage Gravy Link shotgun and blows their putrifying brains all over the wall paper.

Shame about Pomeroo, but you know what they say about making omelettes...

I'm curious is anybody noticed the same thing I did... If anyone recalls the "Beams flying 600 feet away from tower" routine and the "collapsed in own footprint" mantra... anyone else notice a slight problem with having both?

It's one of the classic truther heads-I-win-tails-you-lose proofs, where a pair of opposite outcomes are both taken as proof of a conspiracy. A more subtle example is the claim that (a) the impact of Flight 77 on a renovated and underoccupied section of the Pentagon, causing reduced casualties, proves a conspiracy, while (b) the decision of some Pentagon-based officers to cancel travel plans for 9/11, resulting in them being present in the Pentagon during the attacks and potentially increasing casualties, also proves a conspiracy. There are others.

Ninjas eat zombies for breakfast.

Oh, he and Mark started their own cooking show?

Less considered...??? Think of the poor guys who had to sort through Judy Wood's 120 page paper to them... much less all of the other short ones... der wait... I should read a few more of them to see if I missed any extra 100 page papers.. <.< >.>

I have thought of those guys. I figured they got about a page in, then decided that libations were necessary. Probably spent the rest of the report at the bar, with drinks.

Anyone who believes in the saying "No pain, no gain" has not read Wood's work. Lots of pain, nothing but loss: Loss of brain cells, loss of time, loss of sanity...

I dunno... I find the TM more resembling the future population in Idiocracy. I know I can laught at them, but I also end up being worried about the future of the population...

Well hopefully the syndrome stemming from the twoofer gene will prevent them from reproducing (not many girls in their movement), and hence will be eliminated through natural selection.

"Dammit!!! Do any of you even know what electrolytes ARE?!?!"

*pause*

"It's what plants crave."

This is way off topic but as TAM posted a clip of Fetzer I thought I'd pop in a quick post with another Fetzer interview that had me rolling in the aisles.

Fetzer pwned by O'Reily:

Some of you have probably seen it before but I expect some of you haven't. It's fabulous.

OK, apologies for going so off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread just to show the clip, and one post off topic isn't too big a crime.

OK, back on topic.

Bush motive

If Bush and the PNAC crew did 9/11 what was their motive? Bush needed 9/11 to attack Iraq? No it was not that. Since Bush and the PNAC crew said that Saddam Hussein had WMD"s. Anyway if Bush and the PNAC crew could do something like 9/11 then how come they could not but WMD"s into Iraq? If Bush needed 9/11 to steal oil then how come the price of oil is very low? Second Bush"s net worth is $9-$20 million dollars.

Pretty much like the grammatical structure of your OP, conspirators needlessly complicate things.

Seriously, Moon, is this automatic writing? Do you really need to create a thread every time a random thought pops into your head?

Anyone who says iraq was all about oil is a moron who knows nothing about the oil industry.

I would say Oil was a factor...a major one. But it was much more than about Iraq's oil. It was about having a staging area in the middle east. It was about sitting on Iran's doorstep. It was about so many other things, but I would say that Oil was near its center.

9/11 WTC museums in New York

This summer, my father and me went to New York again, after having been there before in June 2001.

We visited two museums dedicated to the WTC tragedy.

The first was the Ground Zero Museum Workshop which centers around the photographs of the recovery by Marlon Suson, and also displays a lot of items recovered from 'the pile'. Allthough the display is very impressive, it didn't connect emotionally with me.

The second museum we visited, was the Tribute WTC Visitor Center which started out on an easy pace, with a film about the World Trade Center. Further on, there were pillars where you could listen to audioclips of the FDNY communications. Behind that was a wall that displayed (copies of?) the missing posters. It starts with a few, but the further I walked along the wall, more and more where hanging there. Halfway through I stopped reading them, because it really got to me and I became very emotional.

Continuing my way down, there was a small reflection room with the names of the victims. In one of the corners, there where childrens drawings. One of those drawings showed the planes crashing in the towers in the top, and below that, angels coming down from heaven, taking the victims savely away from the towers... That one drawing made such a big emotional impact on me, that I lost it.

In all, if you visit New York, I can highly recommend to visit both these museums. Be aware though, that you have to order your tickets to the Ground Zero Museum Workshop in advance (see their website).

Any of you who have visited these museums, please share your experience.

(Note to the Mods: I posted this in the 9/11 subforum for obvious reasons. Please don't move :) )
