But other agencies and experts disagree. Not to mention NIST was not the major investigating agency, the FBI is.

My understanding is that they couldn't determine from where in the building the steel came from, so there was no point in using it.

Well you understand wrong. NIST's own report states they failed to recover steel from building 7 for testing, but FEMA did.

But they didn't need it to figure out what happened. .

I know the FBI was the major investigating agency for 9/11 in general. But NIST was responsible for figuring out how the towers collapsed, genius.

I never said that NIST had the steel, genius. I said it would be irrelevant if they did because they wouldn't be able to identify where it came from.

And they did figure out what happened. WTC7 collapsed due to fires. The fact that idiots in the twoof movement don't like that means nothing.

given, for the most part, this has confined the bickering, and nonsense, to a single thread, that if possible you remove the offending posts to AAH, rather than the entire thread. Be ashame to destroy the entire thread, which I think, to a degree, is working.

We'll see. You need to take into account how much effort is wasted in sorting out individual posts. If you want a general thread, you guys need to learn how to look after it - clean the litter box and don't overfeed it.

Its the AA77 FDR animation that the NTSB did. Why don't you go to the NTSB website and file a FOIA to get your own copy.

The report confirmed the emerging consensus that the twin towers could have withstood the impact of the hijacked airliners but eventually succumbed to the inferno that weakened the buildings' steel framework.

And they did figure out what happened. WTC7 collapsed due to fires.

As for WTC7, fire caused it's collapse.

Firefighters and structural engineers confirmed it.
