What has Richard Gage built?

He's getting older and feels he should be much better off. Along comes the "truthers" who see him as a god who are willing to pay to see (what is essentially a nobody) speak is an intoxicating proposition (fame sort of). I'm not sure at this point he even knows what he stands for. The sad part is (if I recall) this whole thing has now cost him his marriage.

That would come under "fool", in my view. There is a Scots word "doited" which would express immesurably greater contempt and comes closer to my actual opinion on a professional who prostitutes himself in this manner.

I am an MD. I have done a rotation of 3 months in surgery, as well as a 1 month elective. I also remove cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions in my clinic.

Would you trust me to take out your appendix or gallbladder? Would you trust me to resect your cancerous bowel?

TAM:)

Sure, I think you'd do fine on an appendix. Then again, a pharmacist's mate did one of those on a submarine submerged under the Pacific Ocean in WW-2. Were there no other more qualified surgeon around, I wouldn't even worry about you doing it.

But you can forget about resecting my bowel. Just give me the radium suppository, thanks.

Many of us have jobs for which if we screw up no one gets hurt. If I screw up a TV station does not get on the air. (..and I get canned perhaps) Quite obviously then if an incompetant person were to attempt our job still no one would get hurt. (in my case again no TV)

While I like T.A.M. and all, and I trust he is a very good G.P., and although if there were no one else available with full surgical credentials I'd quickly submit to having him remove an inflamed appendix,,,, you can bet your bottom dollar(Pound, Euro, Lira, Peso etc.) that I would indeed "worry" about it.

Having been under the knife of a spectacularily competant surgeon I can assure you that anyone not worried about such an event is either crazy or deluding themselves.

Of course in Gage's case the TM would equate his architectural expertise with that of a structural engineer and if Gage or any other achitect were to attempt to perform as a structural engineer on a large construction project I can also state that I would be quite concerned about being anywhere near it.

I have to wonder if gage successfully built a lamp in woodshop.

I have to wonder, as I always have, what the connection between woodshop and lamps was. When you think of working with wood does the human brain make some amazing cognitive leap to "Oooh, I know.... a nice wooden lamp."

Meh, I think of 'bookshelf', 'desk', 'table'... but lamp never occurred to me. Yet, every JHS woodshop I ever heard of had dudes making lamps, of all things.

I've never seen a nice wooden lamp. (I also managed to escape from the one city where I had to take woodshop - before we even got started on the project, so I didn't have to make one..... 8th grade Memphis, 1963.)

What has Mark Roberts built?:o

Mark Roberts has built 100% of the things he claims to have built. If you scroll through the JREF Forums, I think you'll find that Mark claims to be a New York City tour guide. From his knowledge of New York City, I'd say he's probably making a legitimate claim. And, he doesn't not claim to be a tour guide for interplanetary travel nor the publisher of Frommer's.

Gage, on the other hand, builds(if designing is building - from his skill with cardboard, I sorta doubt he could figure out Lego, much less an erector set).... Orange Juice stands, worked on a gymnasium, and claims to be an expert on highrise construction.

Which one's over-reaching?

That's the AE911truth headquarters on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. As a Bay Area resident, I pass by the structure frequently. Usually with a least a dozen rotten eggs. :D

A better question would be what have the engineers and architects that Mark gets his information from built. But you being in denial Bio wouldn't understand that would you? You sit there and think that Mark pulls his expertise from his own field of work. how sad is that? But even sadder is that your lack of ability to think (as shown in this example) is a true representation of the truth movement. just like most of you guys think things like "Oh well Popular Mechanics is a car magazine what do they know", all the while ignoring the 100s of highly qualified experts and scientists who were the ones that provided them the information which they merely published.

If you can't even figure this out, how are you going to figure out a conspiracy theory?

one of the WTC Towers, he only needed a few cola cans, he is talented.

lesson for R. Gage, dont use cardboard, use coke cans, or the JREFers will not understand it.

yes Cheney, some day we hope to be able to understand that dropping a carboard box proves that a building cannot collapse. If we could only be as brilliant as you....

like i said, with cokecans its ok, with cardboxes not.

So you ard going to say that Mark droped a coke can on another coke can and declared that it would be impossible for the top of a building to damage the bottom of a building? Please provide a link, I would enjoy seeing that. Though we may not be as smart as you to understand cardboard.

Well he must get up VERY early in the morning then huh?

Are you pretending not to weasel out of this one?

Do you realize that you're actually mocking one of your own, DC? Mark Roberts was talking about a Truther (SonofNewo) that built a model out of pop cans and then claimed that it proved the tower collapse was impossible- right before he encouraged others to try it.

I'm not sure why you think "use coke cans" is funny, but "cardboard boxes" is perfectly legitimate. How do you even feed yourself?
