homobigotry on mythbusters

My impression was that he was scared the massage would hurt, note that he mentioned being "pummeled." I don't think it was "man to man contact" but that it might be "painful contact" that made it "torture."

Maybe he's a Fembotaphobe and Pris, Racheal and Zhora give him the heeby Jeebies, this must have been after a bad experience with one of the basic pleasure models of earlier marks (and lets face who hasn't had a bad experience with a prototype - fembot)

mine involved trying to run away whilst pulling my Toga on till the stored charge ran out, I think it is to do with with female logic circuits and shoes.

Since then I never use Beta release firmware

BTW, I don't like her hair style this season. Too short, overemphasizes her wide mouth and big eyes, makes her look a little horsey.

Still about 3,870% hotter than anyone I see walking down the halls where I work, though.

I was going to say the same. I saw this episode, and the guy was practically beating on him. Even at one point they had poured potato chips on his back and then were grinding them into his back with the guys forearms.

The "torture" (to me) was clearly in the style of massage. It was in no way gentle, and food grime being ground onto him and stuff.

I was sure the OP was trolling at first.. but now I don't know.

My understanding from MATTFM is that other than Torrey all the mythbusters are married in heterosexual marriages.

Mythbusters is entertainment. Good entertainment. It's not science. It's a tv show. If possible they (try to) use some scientific principles. But it's not science. Oh and Kari is my dream girl. Smart and sexy!

Then Tory had to catch himself from saying "x is a bitch" in front of Kari. If it's wrong to say it in front of a woman, it's wrong to say it at all.

Misogyny, homophobia, and xenophobia, all in one episode.

Good lord, lighten up. Save your outrage for people who really do have something against gay people and want to cause them harm. And I take no back seat to anyone in here in terms of defending the rights of gay people to live as they choose without harassment and to marry and to not be singled out as objects of social scorn.

I think that seems more likely, and probably why they had a man do it. Massages are hard work people!! When I was a massage therapist one of my clients was a rugger bugger ... I couldn't take another client for quite a while after a session of having to work on those concrete legs.

It's very easy to inflict pain on people from a massage, though - even with very little pressure. At the same time, you don't want to do damage (in these circumstances - not with normal massages) just make them feel it. We female massage therapists got taught a few such pressure points to use if necessary in ... umm... difficult ... situations ;). I am certain that's what was being put to use here. Otherwise it wouldn't be torture (or maybe for some of you freaks it would.. ya know - whatever floats your boat :D).
