It really is quite simple, people. You have a question that us folks at JREF have not answered (read: have answered completely, but you reject the answer without articulating why)?

Then ask the people who would know the answer.

Where did the steel go? Why don't you contact the people who handled the steel?

Where is the debris of Flight 93? Why don't you contact the people who worked at the crash scene?

Are those "squibs" evidence of explosives? Why don't you contact a demolitions worker?

How did the FDNY know Building 7 would collapse? Why don't you contact them?

Which fireman was Silverstein talking to? Why don't you ask him?

I could go on and on, but I think you get the general idea. Truthers (on the record) want us to waste millions of taxpayer dollars just so they can have a few "questions" answered, which they could just as easily get the answers to themselves if they would just pick up the phone and/or send some e-mails. It's as if every single one of them is both selfish and lazy. (OFF the record, of course, we know the explanation for this behavior--Truthers do not have "questions". They believe 9/11 was an inside job. They have made up their minds about this. Their "questions" are just a front, a ruse to allow them to play "agnostic" even as they fling accusations left and right).

I submit that every Truther who claims to be "just asking questions" and, for that reason, "just wants a New InvestigationTM" is a huge liar. Otherwise, they would have contacted the first responders, cleanup workers, rescue personnel, demolition experts, etc. BEFORE demanding that taxpayers spend millions to satisfy their ridiculous demands. It really is that simple; all they have to do is contact these people and their questions will be answered. Why has NOT ONE of them done so? Because they do not really have questions. In reality what they believe is an Inside Job, and there is no question about it. They realize, perhaps subconsciously, that if they were to contact the workers who were at the scenes, they would learn the REAL answers to their "questions"--and that would destroy their "inside job fantasy".

Yes, all of you people who claim to be "just asking questions"--and you know who you are--I am calling you liars. Of course, proving me wrong in this is as simple as picking up your telephone and/or logging onto your email and contacting those people who would know firsthand the answers to your phony "questions". Will you do this simple thing? Or will you just continue on selfishly demanding that American taxpayers do it for you?

1. I agree, that the VAST MAJORITY of truthers are people already convinced 9/11 was an inside job.
2. I agree that the "just asking questions" line is just that...a line. It is, as you have pointed out, merely a campaign slogan, with about as much meat as "no new taxes".
3. I agree, the majority of them are liars. I would also add that the majority are whiny, obnoxious, rebellious, and most are of below average intelligence.

4. I would add, that at this point in history, they are barely worth your effort.

I've challenged them numerous times to go do the investigation. After all, if it was an "inside job" the government can't be trusted to do it, so they need to make sure it's a "clean" investigation. Therefore, the funds can't come from the government, so they have to collect their own. The normal investigative bodies, like the FBI and other police agencies, can't do it since they are part of the coverup, so the truthers have to do it.
So far, all they've done is whine and act like it's up to us to do it for them. Sorry, you want it done, get off your backsides and get to it!
Of course, there are some notable exceptions, like the CIT crowd. So we know how the investigation would turn out if it ever did happen.

1. All of the interviews have been done, so they are left with re-interviewing, or taking the results of the original interviews at face value (unlikely).
2. The evidence has all been collected, so they are left with going to the various sites and hoping someone lets them collect evidence (at the landfill, shanksville) which is highly unlikely, or they can pray the FBI or others allow them access to evidence in an ongoing investigation (extremely unlikely).

Because 1 and 2 require numbers, effort, and probably money, they will NEVER start their own investigation. As a result they just bitch and whine that the govt and others won't listen to their call for another, even though, as you have mentioned, a new "independent" investigation would eliminate the use of public coffers (can't trust who is giving who the money, and for what...hush money, etc...) and the organizations with the skills to perform a new investigation (FBI, CIA, etc...).

Oh well.

Yeah but 1337m4n, you presume twoofers have money (let alone after-tax money) to be supporting independent investigations. The paradox is that if the U.S. government indulged them and did a new investigation and it didn't come to their preformed conclusion, it'd be run down as a 'fix'.

That has me thinking...how come the truthers (at least the truthers with a job in the US) didn't have a pact to combine thier federal stimulus checks and put it towards a new investigation? It was a free $600 per truther multiplied by the "obvious" thousands (if not millions ) of truthers located in the US that was at thier disposal to "stick it" to the man. What better use of free government cash is there, only to use it to actually put those government officials responsible behind bars? Or...did greed and a gut feeling that they're full of crap take over to avoid using the free money to conduct a new investigation...only to be spent on the new version of Guitar Hero? Hmmmmm...makes one wonder, doesn't it.

I heard Wal-Mart had a one day sale of "limited edition" Matrix Box Sets with a genuine blue and red pill inside each one.

Hey, mine had a green one and when I took it I passed out and woke up in Tijuana married to a pile of paper towels in a cult that worshiped the supporting cast members in the 80's sitcom Head of the Class.

Wouldn't the proper course of action be to hire a completely uninvolved party to do said investigation?

If the government is going to be biased, wouldn't truthers be as well?

You're not fooling anybody with your appeal to save money for American taxpayers - the US Government wastes money left and right, so what else have you been protesting?

What about the failure to get refunds for fully refundable airline tickets ($100 million between '97 and '03), or spending $100 million on a satellite that was never launched (and now $1 million/yr to store it)? Those are just older examples, but the point is, why not go for the low-hanging fruit before protesting murder investigations?

Why can't any of you just be honest about it: admit that you're happy with the current conclusion, and that's why you're opposed to any additional investigation.

sorry, this is just pathetic hand waving

Troofers, want a new investigation, but they believe our govt was "in on it".
Then praytell who is going to pay for this new investigation? The govt?
the very ones who you accuse of being "in on it".

what does this have to do with 911?

You say that as though it were strange or unexpected.

I'm reasonably satisfied with the reports. There; happy now?

#1. 9-11 truther already think 9-11 was an inside job, and nothing short of the word of god will change their minds.

#2. if they really want a "new" investigation..let them raise money to pay for it. most americans are more then satisfied with the real investigation and our tax dollars shouldnt be used to satisfy? the questions of fruits and nuts.

#3. unless some truther comes out with some monumental amount of new evidence, there will never, ever...ever...be a 2nd investigation.

deal with it.

a joke:
Okay so 2 Truthers die in a horrible car wreck(Calm down that's not the punch line) and go to Heaven where they meet The Lord.
The Lord, He says to them He says I Will Answer 1 Question For You About Anything At All
so bein' Truthers an' all they waste that one question askin' The Lord bout 9/11
an' The Lord says to them He says Listen,For The Last Time, 9/11 Was Carried Out By 19 Jihadis At The Orders Of Osama Bin Laden
then the one Truther turns and whispers to the other "this is bigger than we thought"

Another point... all the "experts" they claim to have parroting the inside job/new investigation™ slogans... you know, the ones with degrees and like, titles and stuff that are flogged on many twoofer sites... could do some real investigating of their own. If only they were qualified... or if they even existed, for some of them.

"Truthers" could, right now, perform their own independent and sovereign 9/11 kangaroo court sham investigation to arrive at their pre-determined conclusion that 9/11 was, like, a total inside jobby job, dude. (If only they thought out their call for a new investigation™ beyond memorizing the slogan to use as a fallback if their "questions" fail to convert someone instantly.) No taxpayer funding would be required, because they already possess the abilities to perform the sort of investigation that would validate their beliefs as true... that is, their keen abilities to obfuscate, dismiss, cherry-pick and outright lie.

1337m4n,

Aren't you being a bit trivial with respect to tax dollars spent on a new investigation?

Let's assume we splurge and spend $50,000,000.

The recent nationalization of Fannie and Freddie puts us on the hook for $5,000,000,000,000.

The former is 1/1000 of 1% of the latter.

Perhaps you should refocus.

Max
