Hitler: Great Humanitarian

Radrook, pssssssssssssst, us professionals professionally call such an OP and thread "parody".

I retract. The problem was that since I had the person on ignore I didn't read his full post and assumed erroneously that he was being serious. My mistake. You are right. He is referring to a parody.

I don't know about a humanitarian, but Hitler was a great painter.
He could do a whole apartment in one afternoon, two coats.

psst! The link says "http://mygodyoucanthavethoughtthiswasanactuallink.com/". And oh yes, he would have been a humanitarian. If one were to qualify Germans as being human only. Sadly for you, we Jews are still technically human and killing 6.6 million of us disqualifies him.
Im not so sure. All the people he didnt kill far outnumber those he did kill. At least he did not park in front of my garage.

The fact that Hitler allowed the British and French to escape from Dunkirk would seem to indicate Hitler was a humanitarian.
Or perhaps it indicates Hitler was simply awful at selecting subordinates and in delegating authority to them since Goering was completely incompetent and a total disaster as head of the Luftwaffe.

Following on from what Slimething posted, certain elements of the British press might actually agree with the OP;

Uh no. Hitler as an extremely poor comedian does not equal Hitler as humanitarian.

Of course Hitler was a human; he could crack a joke (repeatedly, the same one over and over and boringly over again, as the article details); he was kind to dogs and loved his dog. No need to deny all that.

But of course he was also a ruthless, racist opportunist, an obsessive, murderous bigot, and an arrogant idiot who liked ordering others around.

This is very true; Hitler picked neurotic, inadequate people. His way of keeping control, and he would play them off against each other.

As a manager, he was a sick idiot.

And the above is a good brief explanation as to a major reason Germany lost World War 2.
As one military history put it, put a good sound plan of operations and the military equivilent of a Get Rich Quick scheme before Hitler, he would always choose the latter.

Finally, dear Adolf gets his props! A hilarious joke from a Hitler gig:

Oh, Adolf! To know you was to love you!

Few people know that, late in ´44, Goering was prohibited from flying, because every time he´d been up, another star was missing in the sky.

There is also this anecdote:

Once, during an air raid, among the people in one of the air raid shelters was an old lady who spent the time of the raid studying a globe sitting on a table in a corner of the shelter. Finally, she points at the globe, and asks one of the others in the shelter with her:
"That green area here, is that Grossdeutschland?"
"No," the other guy responds, "That the United States of America, our enemy."
"Then this big red area here, surely that is Grossdeutschland."
"No, sorry, that´s the Soviet Union, also our enemy."
"And all those pink areas all over the globe?"
"That´s the British Commonwealth, another enemy."
"So, where is Grossdeutschland, then?"
The guy points at a small yellow patch. The old lady looks at it and asks, quite disheartened, "Does the Führer know that?"

Ignore this. I'm new and testing the edit function.Ανδρα μοι εννεπε ئثقفاثص
