First of all the CFR has major power and influence, secondly So if America wanted to go in the direction of fascism and slap the founders in the face, that's a good idea?

Here's evidence, on a side note, mccain is not only a CFR member but he is also a member of the Trilateral Commission.

Obama has spoken and appeared in front of the CFR. So his membership is pending but he has spoken on behalf of them and has attended a few conferences.

Eisenhower was even a CFR member.

Hmm, Associated Content does not really appear to be the most reliable of sources.

While wikipedia isn't particularly reliable either, it doesn't list Clinton, McCain, or Obama as members. It mostly just shows that various multinationals agree with the CFR ideas.

Mccain is a CFR member and a member of the trilateral commission. Obama has spoken there numerous times, so has hilary. Obama's membership may be pending, I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure he is well on his way in becoming a member.

Watch him try to dance around the question.

What's your point?

Eh, part of it was just wanting to get it off my chest. I went to the Council on Foreign Relations website the other day and was quite amused to see that someone at the CFR is agreeing with Ron Paul in an area as close to his heart as monetary policy is. But furthermore, I do think it somewhat goes against the whole idea that the CFR is working to create a New World Order along with international bankers and whatnot when they have people in their organization saying stuff like that in the Wall Street Journal. Of course it could all be part of the plan, but it does present a certain dissonance.

But do you have any proof? You keep saying people are members of CFR but I haven't seen anything from a reliable source that says as much. That's all I'm asking, is that too much for you?

My dictionary says dumb means "you can't speak".

I am not clicking on your link. So it better the top of the line dictionary. Like oxford or a old english type dictionary.

He still will allow people to fund it as long as the taxpayers don't have to pay for it.
You see that's why Im not voting for Ron Paul. If he were president I wouldn't have a job and quite honestly I like having a job.

The poster stated that he would not have a job. His implication was that without the Federal government that he would be unable to work.

No not really. I trying to help solve the world's energy problems unlike you who I am pretty sure you aren't. It was bad enough under Bush.

What energy problem?

If you were to "solve the world's energy problems" would you not be the richest, most famous man in the world? Why do you need the President of the United States to fund you?
