Is 1908 kg of explosives enough to bring down a WTC Tower?

Hypothetically, what is the smallest amount of explosives that could be placed in any configuration with unlimited access and no time constrainsts that would bring down a building similar to one of the towers?

I assume that in a real CD, placement of explosives is much more important than the total weight of explosives. Thus, I expect that this number would be surprisingly low.

If the question cannot be answered by anyone except a demolitions expert, please let me know. I don't know if this is the type of thing an engineering-minded person can figure out or if it requires real specialized knowledge.

I think I used 2700lbs of rdx shaped charges to cut 65% of the columns at floor 80 to set the collapse in motion. (no I don't feel like doing the calculations again)

I am going by the claims of ae911truth.org and the whole truth movement gang who claim that the speed of the collapse can only be explained through the use of demolitions.

Are you agreeing that there indeed was nothing about the collapse that could only be explained by th use of explosives?

btw it is prolly not the minimum.

when you take a look at the numbers of columns, theyr messurements on the 76th floor.

i took the lagest Box-colum with the messurements of the lower floors. most was not that huge.
also did i take more.

and in real CD's the remove alot of "resistance" before they pull it.
and not only for savety reasons.

Even a 52" circle has a diameter of 4.15 meters. A square column 52" on a side has a perimeter of 5.86 meters when you wrap two sides at a 35 degree angle: (52 + 52/cos(35))*2*.0254

Not that it matters. This thread has no real point.
