Kickin' Truther Ass

More than 95% of the population (i.e. those who do not buy your 9/11 tinfoil hat conspiracy nonsense) are "those guys that were constantly abused in high school"? More than 95% of the population's "only strength is bs on the internet"?

I can't even fathom what kind of alternate universe you believe you're occupying, but I sincerely suggest that you seek medical attention forthwith.

I`d say 5 % or lower was kicking ass in HS and in the real world. Most people are pussies and would avoid confrontation.IE you

Not that I'm aware of. Mind you, they have never had the cajones to show up at a NYC firehall or a NYC police station to tell the fire service or police service members that they believe the firefighters and police officers are covering up information about the murder of thousands (including their own colleagues) in order to "save their jobs". Were they to do so, a literal rather than figurative ass-kicking might well occur.

It's not that they lack the cajones to do something like that, it's that nobody with a functioning brain actually believes any of that.

Even if someone over in the LC forum stated otherwise, you really must understand that nothing they say is representative of anything other than their own personal opinion. I'm sure it's a lot more fun to take note of all the wacky and crazy things they say and then pile them together into a generic, one-size-fits-all "truther" stereotype; however, at some point you're going to have to accept that only a small fraction of those who believe a new 9/11 investigation is necessary are running around in black t-shirts handing out LC DVDs.

But still 95% of the debunkers here hold very successful occupations and a college degree of some sorts, while 95% of the TM is made up of high school kids who are trying to lose their virginity or kids in their early 20s who are unemployed and still trying to lose their virginity.

How is anyone avoiding a confrontation?

I think this is very funny, considering you are aiming it at a Lawyer. Last I heard Lawyers weren't known for avoiding confrontation.

What about the members of the truth movement who actually did lose someone that day? They're only thinking about themselves, instead of those who lost someone that day..? Huh?

I think you may need to update your stereotypes.
I doubt there are any people that dumb who believe thermite and CD did 9/11. Do you know any? And anyone who does believe these fantasies of 9/11 truth, does not have evidence to support them. Does that make them correct? No.

Believing anything 9/11 truth has to offer, takes a lack of knowledge only few people are willing to live with. If someone knew they were that ignorant on 9/11 they would try to get some knowledge before looking dumb on 9/11. Would they not?

could be another job for Buzz Aldrin! (Beating some sense into America!!!)

Oh I can so clearly see Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas being the ass-kickers in high school! Alex Jones would have too! Not to mention Mark Dice...

He's got a point there, Lash.

Tweeter is a badder, tougher anonymous Internet forum poster than any of us.

Don't blame us for judging you based on the people with whom you choose to associate yourself.

You lie down with dogs, you come up with fleas.

Less personalisation and bickering here please.

So now CulTists are supposed to be some tough guys? The same ones who hide behind their computers all day instead of taking their "smoking guns" public?

Actually, it's been my experience that the majority of Truthers are those annoying little "Emo" kids who always wear skin-tight girl's jeans, goofy glasses, dye their hair to the darkest black you could imagine, flip the front of their hair over one eye because they think it looks "cool", listen to stupid bands like "Fallout Boy" and "My Chemical Romance", get piercings in the most retarded places, and often cut themselves because the life of a fourteen-year-old is the hardest thing in the world and cutting is somehow supposed to make things better. In other words, the kids who would benefit from a good beating.

And stoners. Don't forget the stoners. When they're not chanting "9/11 was an inside job!" they're smoking pot, or talking about smoking pot, or playing Call of Duty 4 and complaining into their headset that they wished they had more pot to smoke. You get the picture...

That brings up the question: what was Dylan like in high school. Hmmm... my guess? I'd say he was the A/V kid. You know the one who got to roll that TV around from classroom to classroom? That was Dylan. I'd also like to add that the A/V kid was definately low on the "coolness" totem pole.

successful? - maybe you meant to say respectful -

Hahaha..Never going to happen! The debunkers and non-believers are those guys that were constantly abused in high school. Their only strength is bs on the internet.

I know I'm invoking Godwin, but you're the ones with the Brown Shirts, Or rather the Black Shirts who dress alike and show up trying to intimidate people into believing your BS.

I disagree. Those who spew this nonsense (e.g. Alex Jones, Dylan Avery, Jason Bermas, et al and the merry band of idiots who regurgitate their tripe) do indeed lack the cajones to tell it to the faces of firefighters and police officers whom they accuse. They delight in spreading their lies all over the Internet, but go to a fire hall or a police station and repeat these particular lies? Not a chance. They are cowards.

it's that nobody with a functioning brain actually believes any of that.

I agree with you that those who spew such nonsense are grossly lacking in cognitive and intellectual abilities. However, the reality is that some of the "truth" movement's so-called leaders have and continue to spread these vicious lies, and too many young, impressionable, and naive kids buy into them, at least for a while. It's despicable.

Even if someone over in the LC forum stated otherwise, you really must understand that nothing they say is representative of anything other than their own personal opinion.

See above.

There is nothing "fun" about taking note of vicious lies spread by conspiracy fantasist creeps. And they are vicious lies, not merely "wacky and crazy things".

I agree with you that not all "truthers" are alike, and I agree with you that not all of them are running around in black t-shirts, but regardless of the injustice of it, people generally do judge others by the company they keep.

When the public persona of the "truth" movement is morons and idiots like those named above, and the 'we are change' idiots, and the lunatics Fetzer, Reynolds and Wood, and the snakeoil salesmen Gage and Griffin, and the frauds and liars Kevin Ryan and Kevin Barrett, and the pseudo "scholars" with a fraudulent "journal", it is not at all surprising that people tend to judge those who associate themselves with the "truth" movement in a negative light.

It is unfortunate for you, perhaps, but unless and until the "truth" movement transforms its public persona into something more palatable, it is unlikely to ever accomplish its goals. (eta: assuming that it can eventually articulate its goals in a detailed and coherent fashion)

Now, let’s not denigrate pot smokers here. Willie Nelson has combined a love for the weed with a successful musical career. :D

What the heck is with this Emo thing? It seems totally pointless.

I'm starting to feel old, griping about the behavior of juveniles.

It's the current "High Risk" suicide clique in high schools these days. Before them it was the goths. Before that the metal heads. Before that ...
