I would see being a lawyer, structural engineer, an architect, working for NASA, former military or commercial pilots, doctors, professors and such, as successful and respectable careers, IMHO.

But really you're just splitting hairs on that question.

There's a difference between people those who occasionally smoke pot for enjoyment, and, for lack of a better word, "stoners".

I'd define "stoners" as kids (and adults) that get high on a regular basis. They brag about their usage on chat rooms and in forums. They think they're clever by making drug references within their posts and screen names (i.e. BlueKush, XVII). These are folks who don't just occasionally smoke, they smoke so much that they actually identify with it.

Toss in the fact that if you smoke, you are rebelling against "the man" and you've got yourself a Truther.
