Dfoot:
let's get one thing clear, my friend.
The world is full of badly designed things, and things done by less than perfect processes because they had to be done on the cheap, or were done by people with limited skills simply doing as much as they knew to do.
The design of any suit may be accomplished in a great variety of ways. I've done some ways, other people do them in ways I never would. So when I speak of what makes sense to me, what I would expect, that doesn't ever preclude other people from doing things differently. I invent things precisely because I am willing to do things different from traditional practice.
I'd never design a fur suit in two parts. That's my design philosophy. If others did, fine for them.
As for people pulling my words out of context or mis-intrepreting my intentions, that accusation goes all around, footer and skeptic alike. I'm frankly astonished at how much people seem to pour through my words or notes (as you acknowledged studying my interview comments), and find single sentences while missing the larger concepts.
My notes and interviews are out there. So be it. I have looked over everything and don't feel I need to retract anything. I can't control others misunderstanding me. It's a hopeless goal, trying to erase all the world's ignorance.
I'm approaching this whole issue from a position you and nearly everybody clearly doesn't understand, despite my repeated stating of my intention, so fine, you don't understand what I'm doing. Never stopped me from doing what I intended before. Why should it now?
You obviously are dedicated to your ideas and the goal of proving them. I wish you well in that endeavor. After my one lengthy response to your notes, about two months ago, I haven't made any further effort to pour over your notes and try to nitpick individual sentences. I simply await your conclusion, and When I feel it is structured with scientific discipline, I'll look it over.
I invite you to do the same with mine.
