"God Damn America"

Obama is getting ready to eat crow. Did you think the Clintons were going down without a fight?

... Yeah. There NO pointless, "guilt by association" thing Obama could dig up on the Clintons...

Based upon your equation of a choice relationship with a biological one.

Ah... So going by your logic, Hill-boogie approves of husbands cheating on their wives! (See how easy that was?)

See my post above. The Obama team just schooled everyone with this. They figured out a counter to the Rowe swift boat technique. I wouldn't be surprised if after the general that we learned the Hillery team was helping Obama with planned attacks to dilute any future Republican/McCane swift boating.

Obama's 20 year spiritual adviser calls the country he lives in the US of KKK A.

He believes that America supports State terrorism.

He believes that the American government gives drugs to black people so it can put them in jail.

He says God Damn America.

This is Obama's self professed 20 year spiritual adviser.

This was your other post:
When you think about it, this does very little damage to Obama.

But on the other hand, if you wanted to come up with a counter to the Obama is Muslim, and get free news cycles to show Obama is a Christian. And they’ll show Obama is a Christian over and over this weekend.

What a brilliant strategy.

And as an added bonus it should also take out the “Barack Hussein Obama” users.

Brilliant

That is team Obama's schooling? Are you suggesting Obama's team circulated this story about his inflammatory pastor to stamp out any remaining doubt that he is a muslim? That seems a little out of the fire into the pan, to take a completely false claim and replace it with a serious true one.

That's like Spitzer setting himself up as Client No. 9 to prove he's not gay.

He condemns what the mans says yet he deems him worthy as a spiritual adviser for 20 years. This should disqualify Obama as his judgment is obviously flawed.

:boggled:

Aren't you the guy supporting a candidate who allowed racist articles to be published in his name?!

Is this the worst thing people can dig up about Obama? You judge him by something his priest said? If this is the worst and if it is actually newsworthy, we should just hand the man the presidency.

Also, the "god damn america" line was taken out of context. I heard the whole sermon/speech and what the man said was pretty accurate, if you ask me.

And if you have a problem with a black man saying "god damn america" and if you are white, well, then I think we should enslave your family for 400 years and see if your family comes out all smiles and gratitude.

Should we really be surprised that a priest says something crazy?

I still don't see what the controversy is. Obama, shockingly, said that he doesn't agree. He has a history with the church and liked the ministering and outreach that it does, and this priest is retiring, so it's not like he's going to leave the church.

I think the priest wanted to go out with a bang :p .

I think the problem is that it is a pastor exclaiming "God damn America",and taken out of context my foot; how did the context change his call for God to damn America?

Also, are you saying that black people shouldn't have a problem with this because their family may have been once slaves? Or is it just that black people can disagree with what he said because they their past family members were slaves, and that white people are unjustified in having a problem with Wright's words because they have not?
