Not to mention he baptized this children, inspired a title for one of his books, and preformed his marriage.

The thing I think that gets me is that, while I don't agree with Obama on many issues, he seems reasonable, while this preacher, OTOH seems anything but.
 
Obama needs to denounce this guy, but he is walking the thin line. If he goes TOO harsh, he may lose support among his largest group of supporters.

This guy is an idiot, preacher or not, and his views are completely in polarization with Obama's message.

That said, it took Hillary long enough to fully denounce Ferraro.

To be fair, McCain has never claimed to be a member of the chruch John Hagee preaches at.

You are thinking of the Falasha Jews. Others created a myth they descend from the Danites. Their own myth say they descend from a contingent of soldiers from the tribe of Judah and then intermarried with the Ethiopians there. The truth is really a matter of speculation, but I don't think anybody involved in the Falasha comunity thinks the Jews living in Israel at the time of Jesus look like Ethiopians.

Obama did just denounce the guy,and in faily strong language.
I think Obama did what was right and proper,but I have wonder if there will be a backlash from the more militant blacks about "Selling Out To The Man". I think some of that is probably inevitable,but it might start sooner then I expected.

Obama needs to think more about sane white people than nutty black people, and so far he's scoring well by that criterion.

When you think about it, this does very little damage to Obama.

But on the other hand, if you wanted to come up with a counter to the Obama is Muslim, and get free news cycles to show Obama is a Christian. And they’ll show Obama is a Christian over and over this weekend.

What a brilliant strategy.

And as an added bonus it should also take out the “Barack Hussein Obama” users.

Several "Nutty Black Persons" were family members of mine for 30+ years. Hell some of them still are because they haven't died yet.

I dunno about the priests you guys have met, but all the ones I've met have been pretty crazy politically.

I think that's why he was Obama's spiritual advisor.
