The one where a cartoonist sitting alone in the dark is drawing a picture of Mohammed and hiding the picture from sight?

The one where a boy by the name of Mohammed Valloyskole is pointing at a blackboard with the words 'Jyllands-Posten's journalists are a bunch of reactionary provacateurs' writen in Persian?

The one where suicide bombers have reached heavan to be told by a man 'Stop, stop we are out of virgins'?

Read my exchange with him (or her). I mentioned Whabbism and Bin Ladin. The retort was a common woo statement that the US recruited, equipped and funded Bin Ladin and Al-Qaeda to fight the Russians. Why that answer? I mentioned the Whabbi connection in Afghanistan. IOW, I tested the waters and he (she) responded like Pavlov's dog salivated at a bell.

ETA - Al-Qaeda was formed in 1996 NOT during the Russian invasion. He (she) isn't a Muslim.

Thanks for your response. Whatever choice gives your religious faction power is probably a pretty fair answer.

We could see the cartoons the same way. By publishing the cartoons, Islam is asserted to be merely a human construction rather than one that should enjoy special reverence or respect. The violent Muslim reaction confirms rather than refutes that assertion.

Please keep to topic and take Hadith and Quran discussions to another thread.

This thread was to discuss if there is any difference between Islam and any other belief system, and if it deserves special treatment because of its 'depth'.

You also speak out vehemently against the Mohammed Cartoons. If it isn't your job as a Muslim to convince other people to accept Allah's existence, why do you care what other people do - e.g., mock your god?

Can you tell me what the difference is between me:

Worshipping some other god(s) than the one you believe in​

and

Mocking the god you believe in​

?

Isn't not worshiping the god you believe in the ultimate insult to you?

A Wahabbist would know Al-Qaeda wasn't formed until they merged with Al-Jihad in 1996 so SM isn't a Wahabbist. Also if he was not a troll he would have answered according to what was said not made such a senseless and idiotic statement. But if that is what you choose to believe, by all means go ahead and let the troll lead you like a puppet on a string.

Of all gods, isn't Sunni Man's just about the weakest there is.

After all, it does nothing and requires humans to do all the work for it then throw in the occasional martyr and a little sprinkle of irrational cruelty and misogyny for good measure.

Why does it need people to strike down the infidel/cartoonist?

Too lazy, stupid and weak to do it itself I suppose.




Of course the real answer is no god can do anything as they are all imaginary and it's down to a small group of people that like their power.
