I think broad mindedness is not entirely dependent on sexual orientation, but to be a member of a group which is subjected to large scale intolerance seems to help intelligent people see the point of tolerance. I have never heard a homosexual seriously propose that heterosexuals should be killed, stoned, imprisoned, chemically castrated, shunned, ostracised, condemned to hellfire, shamed or otherwise punished. Anecdotally, then, it would follow that if one seeks broadmindedness, at least on matters of sexual morality, a randomly chosen homosexual will be a safer bet than a randomly chosen heterosexual.

My observations are based on hard gained facts, not on some airy-fairy fantasy.
What I've felt through my senses and past knowledge I formulate in to solid logic.
What I or anyone else thinks is immaterial, it’s the truth that reigns supreme.

And how do you determine the truth? Through the writings of a nomadic Middle-eastern group from the bronze age? If so, that's airy-fairy fantasy.

These days we prefer to determine truth using the scientific method.

I would question this. Racial minorities do not seem to be more tolerant of sexual minorities and your suggestion is that they should be.

I suppose you're right. I suppose I should think longer before posting. Either that, or become like some others, and achieve the bliss of never thinking at all. Here I am stuck in the middle. People often don't seem to be able to generalize concepts like tolerance. You should tolerate me because I'm right; I don't have to tolerate you because you're wrong. My Puritan ancestors mock me for forgetting my history.
