Hi DR,
Sorry for the rather short reply.
I wanted to write more to this question, but never had a chance.
As has already been mentioned, to create the game that would require a horrible punishment scheme, and to create all of the players knowing that the large majority of them would be elligible for that punishment, is rather evil. It's like god is playing one big game of "Why you hitting yourself?"

I do not think that most christians worship a god who is as cold and horrible as what DOC describes. I definitely think the bible describes a horrible god, but that doesn't mean most christians hold such a view of their lord.

What I find interesting is the psychology of a person who worships such a wrathful being and will continue to call it loving.

You are right. For some reason I was feeling rather humorless yesterday and every post i read from him/her was a snipe in some way. So, I felt no need to be polite.
 
I'm sure it's been pointed out previously in this thread, but in case it hasn't is DOC aware that selective mis-readings of the quaran can come up with as many scientfic "predictions" as his selective mis-readings of the bible?

Anybody who makes a post like this and continues to keep coming into my threads and post, is phonier than a three dollar bill. Your continued presence and the continued presence of those who refer to me as a troll does more to destroy your arguments than anything I could every say. Every time you and others post in my threads it smashes your arguments to pieces that much more. If you and others really believed what you said, you wouldn't waste one second in my threads. Thus 3 dollar bill.

And just for you sake DOC, since every one else reading this thread is smart enough to have figured it out. On your User CP there is a function to call up all subscribed threads. When I do so, one of your wastes of bandwidth is invariably on the first page. I check it out and comment if feel in the mood.

It's also quite humorous referring to me as a phony. I am one of the original 200 forum members, have attended 3 TAMs and TAA2 and have met a number of forumites in real life. I have had more posts lost when the database crashed than you have posted the entire time you've been here. Your ignorance is only surpassed by your hubris.
