Stormfront Supports Ron Paul

I don't think anyone with a brain would sift through the pages of rubbish that you just posted.

What you did is called spamming. Now unless you have become a neo nazi (which I doubt very much) I have no idea how this was supposed to help your campaign for Ron Paul.

I'm opposed to Nazi's. But if I really want to understand the topic
of this thread, I actually have to read the Stormfront-Threads...

I posted them for you to build an authentic opinion. It's not about
non-American- or American Opinion, the thread is about the Nazi-
opinion.

So if you want the truth, research and ask Stormfront. Anything
else is hypocrisy ... That's my point as a Skeptic. You should know
that being a member in here for quite a while now....

Why? Why are things becoming more expensive and why are we not more prosperous? That's the central question I think and it's because our government is WAY too big, spends us into debt, and taxes the people too much.

Population Growth, among other factors.

That's a good point. One reason rails declined is because of other modes of transportation are able to compete for price. Interstates (which damaged the economy BTW) competed with rails. Trucking companies capitalized on that and were able to ship things cheaper than rails. It was a huge market shift, partially created by big government.

R..ight. You know, there was another reason they were built...

That's a red herring. Railroads criss-cross the country and are privately owned. Airlines are privately owned.

I hate to state the blatantly obvious, but it seems to be necessary: Neither airlines nor railroads are "roads". The Air requires no roads and railroads face competition from regular roads. Roads face no competition because you need to use roads, or at least cross them to even get to a railroad station. You can't have genuine competition on roads. It is impossible. Think for crying out loud! Yes you might have multiple roads going from New York to LA (though they could form a cartel if there was since that would I presume be legal), but you have only one road running in front of your house. IN a perfectly "free" market there's nothing to stop the road owner from insisting that you must hand over 50% of you income for the privilege of leaving you house. Genuinely private roads are only marginally less insane than private police and armies, if at all.

Here's a simple solution. Let private businesses adopt roads (just like they do now!). They can pay for advertising. Government is not omnipotent.
Just like they do now? Pray tell, where on your planet are there privately funded road nets? Not glorified driveways or parking lots, but actual road nets? Anywhere?

From what I read, the Stormfront page is awful racism.... you'd figure things like "White Pride" would be a thing of the past.

However, just because Ron Paul opposes the AIPAC Israeli Lobby doesn't make him racist. Israel is a country -- not a race. I really dislike it when some people immediately cry antisemitism when Israel is criticized, especially for actions that don't have anything to do with racism: It is just a tactic to scare off further discussion of the topic.

If Ron Paul wants to stop this,he can quite easily. Simply send out a press release or make a statement that although he cannot keep Stormfront from supporting him he renounces their support, and will not accept money from them. Paul either will not do it or equivocates about it.

The snide assholishness aside, you seem to be suffering from the "but we've always done it that way!" paradigm.

Right now, many communities have "adopt a road" projects where private groups fund portions of highway repairs etc. Why? Because tax money is not enough! It is clear that the government cannot maintain these projects; it's time they move over and let the experts handle it.

Search for a pdf document entitled: "Free Market Transportation: Denationalizing the Roads". I can't post a link, I haven't made enough posts.

I am opposed to the Libertarians for the same reason I am opposed to hard core Socialists: They are both examples of when reality intereferes with ideology, reality must be disposed of.

That is an ideological statement, not reality.

Hmm:

From Wikipedia entry on (not even kidding) "Private Roads":
England and Wales are thought to have about 40,000 private roads.

One company that provides such roads:
http://www.privateroads.co.uk/

Most are local roads that are paid for by homeowner's associations. Right, that must be why I've been hearing about all those British people that have to give up 50% of their income to walk outside!

As for private highways (from the wikipedia entry on, yes, private highways):

A private highway is a highway owned and operated for profit by private industry. Private highways have been constructed all over Europe; in addition, a few have been built in the United States on an experimental basis.

Examples from the article:

Canada:

407 ETR.

The 108km Highway 407 ETR through the Greater Toronto Area is a privately owned freeway with the unique characteristic of all tolls being handled through electronic toll collection.

Italy:

3,120 kilometers of Italy's highways (comprising 56% of the country's toll roads) are controlled by Autostrade Concessioni e Costruzioni Autostrade. According to Forbes, "Autostrade was an early Electronic Age entry, computerizing to its highway system in 1988"[5].

UK:

The M6 Toll was the first private toll motorway in the United Kingdom[6]. The project was described by urbantransport-technology.com as a "27 mile [43 km] dual three lane (plus hard shoulder), £485.5 million motorway" with six toll stations[7]. A similar scheme to bypass Newport in the M4 is under consideration.

There are many other examples, including some in the US, that you're free to check out for yourself, but you get the idea.

In case you think Wikipedia is just run by the vast libertarian conspiracy, you can always check out the websites for the companies that run these (according to you) nonexistent roads:

www.407etr.com
http://www.autostrade.it/en/
http://www.m6toll.co.uk/

They work by toll collection using electronic recognition of tags on people's cars. But silly me, I seem to be talking about something that doesn't exist.

That southern racists solidly supported Democrats for a hundred years doesn't seem to phase anyone...

The B.S. is strong with you. Of course New England and liberal Democrats despised conservative Southern Democrats and Dixiecrats because those backward white guys headed all of the committees and obstructed civil rights legislation. The two parties' views on federalism have flipped over the years, which is one reason why I have to suppress laughter when Republicans boast about being the "party of Lincoln." Post-Civil War Republicans had the federal government involved in southern reconstruction -- to the horror of the states' rights racists. Eventually many of those southern Democrats became Republicans (e.g., Strom Thurmond, who ran for president as the States' Rights party candidate). Their whole strategy since Nixon, since the 70s was getting those southern states to "realign." Now Bush, to his credit, attempted to appeal to black and Hispanic voters, but we see how the latter is playing with the party's base...

The difference, is private money by choice, or private money by force/threat of violence.

What an ignorant, childish view of reality. Here's an idea: leave. Since you obviously hate America, instead of trying to force your viewpoint on America, why not find a place where you can avoid being a citizen, since it is citizenship that you hate so much.

It's not by force, neccesarily. You might also pay because you want to enjoy the services you pay for.
But what if you DON'T enjoy the services? What if the services don't work or are terribly mismanaged? In the private sector, you aren't required to reward bad service.

Here's an experiment: don't pay taxes and see what happens. You will be taken by force, against your will. The underlying philosophy is violence, not choice.

I'm pretty sure citizenship is a choice... no one is forcing anyone to enjoy the benefits of citizenship here.

If that were true, then I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with making taxes voluntary.

It's similar to, say, the draft. Not everyone who is drafted is being forced into it- some would have joined voluntarily. But that doesn't mean that the people that were forced into it weren't forced.

A familiar accusation indeed.

instead of trying to force your viewpoint on America, why not find a place where you can avoid being a citizen, since it is citizenship that you hate so much.

Wow, do you realize you've discovered the holy grail of arguments? There's almost no political position that can't be countered with it!

A: I think we should return from Iraq.
B: If you don't like America fighting the war, you can leave!

A: I think we should legalize drugs.
B: If you don't like America prohibiting drugs, you can leave!

A: I think we should institute gay marriage.
B: If you don't like America not having gay marriage, you can leave!

Wow, let's just hope no one else gets hold of this nuclear option...
