Bigfoot: The Invisible Variety

That's very convenient. So you have as testiimony a suppressed news conference that only you remember and a secret recording that only you have heard.

Since Bigfoot are everywhere, and seem not to be fazed by most physical barriers, why must one be camping in a tent? For example, I live well out in the country, and in fact not so far from Whitehall, NY, where some persons allege Bigfoot has touched down. Would the experiment work if I simply uttered out loud, perhaps from my back porch, insensitive and scoffing remarks about the existence and character of bigfoot(s)? If not, why not?

I am serious here. I will happily go out and utter, loudly or softly, insensitive statements impugning the character, existence, and any other aspects of the squatch and his kin that you think might be particularly offensive to one that is listening. I will even be willing to breach rule 8 in the privacy of my woodsy domain. Please let me know what, if any, specific things I should say. I am willing to risk this for the sake of science, but I need your help to do it right.

Oh, an afterthought: since many if not most people think that sasquatches are nonexistent, and I venture to guess that most would consider the observation that they are paranormal the utterances of a crackpot, and since Jimmy Carter was already taking a lot of heat for various things he had uttered, what reasonable motive would there be for the vast and troublesome operation of deleting his statement from the archives, considering the great possibility that someone unknown, somewhere, might have it on video tape? I realize that economy and efficiency are anathema to conspiracy theorists, but I still have to ask, why bother?

Why don't you ask Jimmy Carter as to exactly what he recalls. You seem to be excluding him from your little insinuation that I am a liar. Theodore Roosevelt, Stephen Hawking, Dan Rather and Paul Harvey, have all stated that Bigfoot are real, in public or on the national news media. Why focus on Jimmy Carter?

The experiment won't work if you simply stepped onto your back porch. Because you will not hear the Bigfoot when they come by about 3am since you retired inside. They may choose to rip the forest apart in order to make a point that they are more powerful than you are, so you should show a little more respect.

The NSA for starters, has a lot of people with time on their hands. They keep things like Bigfoot panics from occurring during the reign of their boss. That's so that they can say, "it didn't happen on our watch". By deleting that segment, they save Jimmy Carter from future embarrassing moments, they contribute to the deletion of bigfoot's existence from history, and they screw with your mind. By destroying evidence of an event that the public can use to defend themselves against a frivolous lawsuit brought on by the government, the government increases the chance of winning. Except Mr. Jimmy Carter will be subpoenaed to testify, since we all know this particular historical fact.

Bigfoot isn't a belief. Bigfoot is a fact, because I have heard plenty of Bigfoot. And I can hear them every weekend if I so chose. The believers are the ones that believe that Bigfoot does not exist, since they have no corroborating evidence. The fact that they are interdimensional, does not mean that they do not exist. They just rarely exist in the same dimension that man occupies. Because man has guns and is not reluctant to use them, especially when he gets scared and is about to wet his pants.

Virtually every farmer in the midwest, has a bigfoot living within only a few yards of his home. I have heard that those farmers do not speak ill of the bigfoot, because the bigfoot allows them to live and farm there. Those who choose to disrespect the bigfoot, have been met with a sudden and unexplicable loss of livestock. So what sacrafices are you willing to make, for science? Your dog? Your poultry? Your barn? Perhaps even yourself?

Bigfoot are benvolent, as long as you respect them. All bets are off, if you choose to disrespect them.

You were the one that mentioned Jimmy Carter, and you mentioned you remember him saying this in a nationally televised press conference. You do not have any other information on this? A specific date? A location (ie. where he gave this press conference)?

That really didn't answer his quesiton; if he wants to call Bigfoot, and risk injury (as you've implied), or the destruction of his forest that is his call. He was simply asking you what could he do to call them....

I don't post my video on the internet, because it is not that spectacular, nor do I want my face all over the internet, nor do I want the publicity, nor am I interested in being famous, nor do I want to become a target of morons with a computer and internet access. Case closed.

When I say "has a shot at", I mean that the JREF skeptic has a full understanding of the necessities of the application process, and then looks at Neal's claims and position, and then concludes that he already has what is needed to go all the way to testing.

A few pages back, historian claimed to be able to use telepathy and sense an electromagnetic "presence". Either of those would be easily tested for the Challenge. Certianly this press conference was covered by more then one network, or broadcast in more then one city/town? Typically when the President (current or former) speaks, it is a huge media event and often covered by other countries as well.

What is the one archive you know that it existed, but was then deleted from?

When Jimmy Carter left office has no bearing on the press conference you've mentioned; I do not follow the connection, other then are you implying he said this before JAN '81? In what post is this conference "described above", to include a date, location, etc?

Rather then posting the video, can you simply post the audio portion of what you have? That would protect your privacy, and allow folks to at least hear what Bigfoot sounds like.

I can understand not wanting to teach people to call Bigfoot...but, there is a public safety issue here. A camper might accidently say the wrong thing, only to be attacked (as you've suggested). What should campers, or people in general, NOT say...in order to be safe from Bigfoot attack?

You can attempt to duplicate the sounds yourself but Bigfoot makes all kinds of sounds.
Just go out into the forest and look for a stout tree. Then reach up into that tree and snap off about a 4 inch diameter limb, with your bare hands. See, that's just one of the noises that Bigfoot can make. You just heard a simulation of a bigfoot communication sound.

Public safety issue? Only if you fail to respect the bigfoot. Think about how you can disrespect them, and then don't do those things. Campers don't often get attacked, for purely saying the wrong thing. Bigfoot realizes that we are stupid when it comes to Bigfoot knowledge. Hunters with guns, repeatedly boasting around the campfire, may get some kind of warning.

Talk to the BFRO or other long time researcher type people who may keep track of who goes missing. They are the ones who claim that some have gone missing. I don't know that many researchers, and none of them have gone missing.

Finally one I can personally check! My work very often has me in touch with folks at the Carter Center, including the former President. As it happened, I was able to speak briefly on the phone with someone who really would know this and before we wrapped it up, I said, "I heard Mr. Carter once had an encounter with a Bigfoot."

He said, "You mean the truck?"

I said, "No, the creature."

He laughed and said, "I'm afraid you were misinformed."
