Jonathan Cainer the astrologer

no but i also know funny words..

But you know nothing about astrology, you have even admitted that repeatedly. Your current pet astrologer knows nothing about astrology either. If he didn't know enough to ask for proper information up front, or to register a complaint before completing the test, he clearly shouldn't be crying foul after the fact. I have noticed repeatedly that you much prefer to cherry-pick existing data than to try and generate new data. Why is this? If you feel so strongly that astrology works, why do you keep failing in all of the tests, and why do you keep linking to others' failed tests? In your other thread, I offered a suggestion for how a test could be set up, and you didn't respond at all. I think you well know that you would fail that test as well.

:D I haven't seen that in years.

And he looked so young!

There are several other clips from the series on YouTube.

When I get back in financial health, this series is going to be my first fun purchase.

I'm glad you liked it!

Hugh Laurie does a good American accent. Many people think he's American.

They showed this series in Sweden, but that was quite a few years back. I ued to follow it then. I've read a few of P. G. Wodehouse's books too, but that was years ago as well. Well, he and Stephen Fry do justice to the books, I think :)

They do? I'm watching him in House, and he does have a good American accent. But I known of him since the mid 80s I think, when I first saw him in the Black Adder series with Rowan Atkinson, so, always knew he was British.

Peer pressure???

Sorry mate, I`m not one of you. I dont belong to some sort of Skeptic brotherhood. And believe me, word spreads quickly on the net. Randi`s tests are rubbish:rolleyes:
Who's tests?
. . .
Applicant must state clearly what is being claimed as the special ability upon which they wish to be tested, and test protocols must be agreed upon by both parties before any testing will take place. All tests must be designed in such a way that the results are self-evident, so that no judging or voting process is required. We do not design the protocol independently of the applicant, who must provide clear guidelines so that the test(s) may be properly designed and carried out.
. . .
15. EVERY APPLICANT MUST AGREE UPON WHAT WILL CONSTITUTE A CONCLUSION THAT, ON THE OCCASION OF THE PRELIMINARY OR THE FORMAL TEST, HE OR SHE DID OR DID NOT DEMONSTRATE THE CLAIMED ABILITY OR POWER.

i prefer Geoffrey Chaucer`s jokes about farts:D

shakespeare is for presumptious people whonthink are very cultured when they say « to be or not to be»

There's plenty of that stuff in Shakespeare's works. In fact, he has not always been as revered as he is today.

I read Hamlet, Otelo,Romeo and Juliet and Midnight summers dream. The last one is my favorite. But i refuse to call myself cultured just because i read certain writers.Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa accurately described what culture is.
When a cult person learns something he feels it, he doesnt think about it. And the more he reads the less certain he is, unlike scholars

It's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Othello".

A Cult person?? That sounds more like a member of a cult. Can you explain these terms a bit better?

No one here said they were "cultured". But even so, that is just your interpretation of it, that it should be something negative.

what god??

Even legends, myth and fictional characters have their history, you know. Just because Zeus does not exist, for example, doesn't mean that it would be correct to say that the legends about him originated in Norway. You don't have to believe in the Judeo-Christian god to laugh about that some people seem to think that he is American in nationality.
