Why?
Most likely, because a rational system of thought NEVER leads one to a conclusion of genuine religion/knowledge of God.
If one wishes to find God, one MUST be irrational.
Seems pretty simple to me.
Why?
No, you didn't post a problem of origins 20 pages back either.
Here is how this particular exchange started:
As I say, an incomplete enumeration, not a problem of origins.

Talking about a so-called god and being serious, it is like being serious about Harry Potter and other fictional characters, there is a limit until it becomes silly.(not seriously, though, as he is difficult to engage in serious conversation)
Nevermind though,
BillyJoe.
Well show me what I have missed. Show me where you have posed a problem of origins. No, this line of enquiry started with Belz, but I could never get more than further questions or one-liners from him so, much later, I tried to get Paulhoff interested (not seriously, though, as he is difficult to engage in serious conversation)

20 pages.
No, I'm not doing it.
Sorry.![]()
(Belz, if he is still around, may be able to confirm it and you can then take our word for it - or not!)
Thanks, Belz, I knew I could count on you to back me up.
Yes, I stated that there is a problem, but I pose it now as a problem in search of a solution.![]()
The problem is to try to guess what the problem is.It would help if you would, in fact, pose the problem as such - that is, that you would directly state the problem in as many words.
The problem is to try to guess what the problem is.
To state it clearly, the proof of the existence of an eternal deistic God is that the existence of God solves a problem, but we do not know what problem God solves.
I have been picking up stones and looking under them, no so-called god so far.

You really must love reading your own posts.
It would help if you would, in fact, pose the problem as such - that is, that you would directly state the problem in as many words.
I find it hard to think why you might have said such a thing...
....unless....
....unless you too love reading them!
I'm going to take that as a compliment!![]()
EITHER it's something from nothing OR time without beginning.
Either way, with our present knowledge, it is impossible to explain existence.
