DOC's Proof of Christianity Through Irrelavent Fact Attrition

It's hysterical DOC invokes Jimmy Carter, when Carter is such a staunch supporter of the seperation of church and state.

heeheehee

That line just gave me an image of DOC standing around a large chalk circle, inscribed with eldrich runes and other markings, an 11 pointed star circumscribed on the inside. He dances and chants Enochian phrases that roughly translated mean "That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange eons even death may die". A mist forms in the center, and Jimmy Carter is seen manifesting.

Ok, I really shouldn't post this early in the am with no coffee.

You should lay off the MMORPGs. Everything in moderation, man, even World of Warcraft.

The list I made is not a parody, it is an exact representation and summary of all of DOC's points.
I realize that. I also realize why the thread is here. What I'm saying is that Doc's obviously not going to reply, and as such this thread has outplayed its role.

This thread highlights DOC's continued unwillingness to say what he means. As long as he keeps posting other threads without addressing this one, this thread still has a role to play.

Plus it's funny.

When I get evidence that Lief Erikson was an evangelist to the Natives in Greenland or North America...

From Erik the Red's Saga:

Now, when they sailed from Vinland, they had a
southern wind, and reached Markland, and found five Skrœlingar; one
was a bearded man, two were women, two children. Karlsefni's people
caught the children, but the others escaped and sunk down into the
earth. And they took the children with them, and taught them their
speech, and they were baptized.

Viking evangelism in action!

I'm going to say B.S. Unless the Skralings were a North American version of the Ainu, they didn't find a male with a beard.

I've given up on waiting for replies evidencing anything D. James Kennedy or David Barton says being other than B.S. or that Leo Pfeffer was an "ACLU attorney".

Not to mention his constant demonizing of Justice Hugo Black being a former member of the KKK. Meanwhile he ignored the fact that Sen. Robert Byrd, whom he idolized in the Jefferson thread for his support for the Christian Right, was a member of the same hate group.

Adding layer upon layer to the irony, while some of the pols were Kluxers and may or may not seriously have advocated segregation, Jefferson actually owned slaves.

I wonder how one goes through life without a sense of irony, because DOC doesn't seem to even know the meaning of the word.

Well, what do you know, I finally got a little time to come into this spinoff of my threads. There's so much to say. I have a life outside of this thing, so my available time comes and goes.

The very title of this thread could be considered a falsehood, so that told me a little what to expect.

"Docs Proof of Christianity" through Irrelevant "Fact Attrition". What the heck is fact attrition? A google search of "fact attrition" came up empty with those words used in that manner.

Anyway I never said the facts I present are "Proof" of Christianity.

There is evidence out there, though, that points to the truth of Christianity -- without a doubt. Historical evidence, evidence of many people's personal experiences (e.g. healings complete life changing experiences), and even logical evidence. Much of this evidence, I haven't even gotten into yet. I've dealt mostly with historical evidence so far, though.

Some of the facts I have presented are historical facts dealing with Christianity and I said several times what you do with them is your business. The very fact someone took the time to put up a thread about them shows there is some importance to them.

There are several other false statements that have been made and if I get the time I'll go into them.

Name the Historical evidence DOC. Let's see you cite it.

So far, his entire historical evidence has been along the lines of "historically, there have been Christians, some of whom you have heard of." That isn't evidence of anything except Christians exist... and we all know that unfortunate fact. Lots of rapists and murderers and assorted criminals have also been Christians... and that's a fact too.

Yeah, His thread on Jefferson is a point by point of logical fallacies and bad logic, as well as filled with miscronstued or downright false facts.

But hey, he said historical evidence. If he has anything other than testimonials, I'd like to see it.

So what's the historical evidence of JEsus, DOC? Let's see it. (hint, yet again, you'll find we know more about this that you do.)

The thing is, we've all of us looked into this, so we all know what incredibly limited evidence there is, and how pathetic that evidence really is. He'll pretty much be forced to lie... proving that Christians are liars?
