Dave - see if that works. Just copy it and paste it in your post in Teh Stundies thread.

This is a better link, it goes right to that post. There's a "Posted" label at the top of each post that pops up a window with a direct link you can use. Just click on the word "Posted" and it should come up, like when you hit the "link" button on a JREF post.

Will someone PLEASE TELL ME, why I am suppose to be part of the CIA, but I HAVE NOT recieved a single cheque from them yet...what...I don't do a good enough job? I'm Canadian...is that it?

I'm not sure what to say to you TAM except: "They won't buy the cow if they can get the milk for free". They're all the same.

Has anybody ever considered the possibility that the "Truth" movement is getting less insane? Think about it; in order to be a 9-11 Denier in 2001 or 2002, you had to be pretty wiggy. But then as time goes by, the early researchers managed to locate some anomalies that at least were intriguing enough to get people who were slightly less bonkers to get into it. But of course once that happens, the new generation begins to realize that the original researchers (Killtown, Nico Haupt, Holmgren, Web Fairy, etc.) are nuttier than a Blue Diamond warehouse. Time goes by and a still newer generation of Deniers enters the movement, again slightly more sane, and the second generation, the Karl Schwarz, Mike Ruppert, Leo Wanta generation starts to get pushed out as too kooky for the Morgan Reynolds, Jim Fetzer, Steven Jones brigade. But as they move into the positions of power, another group is coming up behind them that sees this latest gang as mostly nutbars...

 Ohhhhhhh! That's the first time I've read that out loud! Cheque=CHECK and in PAYCHECK!!! I'm sorry TAM you gotta remember most of the support staff is American and we don't get the funny Brit spellings. All of those emails we got from you and we had no idea what you were talking about.;)

Why you stinking yanks. If I do not soon recieve a CHEQUE, I am going to rip up your POTATOE fields, take you out into the HARBOUR and dump you into the ocean in the middle of the NIGHT.

Well, not really, but you get the picture.

Another job that can easily be done by a hardworking American gets outsourced. Obviously it was for the cheaper pay arte.

Did you at least get your code book, sun glasses, ear piece and trench coat?

You work for free, duh. It was part of your community service sentence for the little "misunderstanding" with that 17 year old girl...

The 9/11 CT movement might be growing slightly less insane, but if so, it will mean the eventual demise of the movement, which I believe at its core requires a big dose of insanity to exist. In fact, what appears to be a move towards increased sanity may be nothing more than opportunists attempting to make the 9/11 CT more palatable to mainstream audiences, to increase its potential market appeal. Basically, people like Dylan Avery are picking up pieces of dried feces left behind by the Killtowns of the world, painting it yellow, and trying to palm it off as gold. The occasional intellectually muddled Chuck and Rosie may fall for it, but anyone who really looks into it will soon find...well, crap is crap, after all.

Eventually the market potential (which probably isn't great) will be exhausted, the opportunists will move on, and the veneer will blow away, revealing the tiny inner core of insanity that has fueled the 9/11 CT movement all along. Mark my words, Killtown will still be doing what he's doing long after Dylan Avery has packed up and gone on to whatever anonymous fate awaits him.

Not less insane, but perhaps running out of steam. They try and try and nothing they do makes the slightest difference, so they begin to look around for something else.

One thing I have noticed recently is an increase in the other 'truther' obsessions. Being a 'truther' nowdays is not all about 911. We have 'JFK truthers' , 'NWO truthers' etc etc

Basically, the very paranoia which brought them into the embrace of the 911 'truth' movement is becoming more and more prominent in their posts.

911 (to them) is just a symptom of a bigger disease. In this belief they can conveniently explain away the total lack of interest in 911 displayed by the media and the opposition political parties. THEY'RE ALL IN ON IT!!!111!!!

The window of opportunity for anything productive to happen with regard to 911 is closing as the 2008 US elections draw near. 911 'truth' won't go away, but it is becoming subsumed to the greater 'truth movement' which believes everything bad that happens to the faithful is someone else's fault.

Moving from being pure nuts, to hearsay nuts, to just talking nuts that sound neat.

This is what I love to read....

Jarroyo:
(antipodean @ Jun 14 2007, 01:23 AM)
That piece of engine scrap look's similar to the engine scraps found at the towers.
Somebody must have pinched them from a recycling bin, at the back of the Boeing factory.
I'm going to take a wild guess, but maybe, just maybe, it was so because the planes were also similar, hence their parts must also be similar.

How many times has a 'truther' posted their absurd fantasies on this forum and we have  ?

And so, when a mod at the LCF encounters the same paranoid delusions it makes for a damned good laugh.

You never know, in five or six years time the realisation that the 'truth' movement is made up of idiots might actually manage to seep into the brain of jarroyo.

In all honesty, ATS is a pretty respectable board, regardless of the opinions of some of its members (such as the 9/11 conspiracy theorists and the reptilian agenda preachers etc.).

It is?? :eye-poppi I mean, I don't doubt you, it's just that I've never seen a thread over there that wasn't any less paranoid than anything I've read at, say, Prison Planet, or from the truthers here. Although, I do admit, I've only visited them during 9/11 conspiracy fantasy related research. Huh... I guess when you only visit the alleys, you never get a good impression of the city.

I should read some different threads there some time. I've definitely developed a slanted view of that site, which is something I should reevaluate.

At the liberty forum link, Killtown has labeled his planted engine CT "Not For Commercial Use." Perhaps we have a clue about the real nature of the Avery-Killtown split.

I think it's quite funny really. The Truthers are fighting over their territory trying to claw as much of it to themselves as they can and leaving the rest to come up with more and more outrageous claims to survive. Instead of working togther to eliminate the weaknesses, their fighting just shows up the cracks more and more as they debunk each others claims.

On the other hand the debunkers stand with a united front and a pretty much a single theory that just gets refined over time as people investigate it further.

It's sort of like going off to battle then sitting on the sidelines watching the enemy cut itself to pieces and only having to whack the strays on the head when they venture to close to our lines.

Thank Allah we never came up with an actual gay bomb.

Sadly, I too was recently banned from ATS. At least it wasn't a <gasp> Public Banning.

I just got the silent cyber-hook for calling some Anarchist Nazoid a "twit" for following me from thread to thread demanding that I answer a question about the pivot momentum of WTC 2 during collapse, regardless what the thread topic was.

I should have taken the TAM approach of dealing with a baiting troll.. i.e. type out a response, wait five minutes, re-read the response then edit BEFORE hitting send...but ya know..Whoops. I sometimes callem' like I see em' -- and a "twit" was he.

I apologise beforehand if this post has deeply offended anyone. :boxedin:
