psychicuk, you seem like a nice, caring sort of person. I didn't expect you to take up my $100.00 challenge, rather, I was curious as to what excuse you would give, if you replied at all.

Here's what will happen as you post on this forum: you will either

a) realize you have no "gift" and had been mistakenly deluding yourself all these years,

or

b) become frustrated and leave the forum.

Personally, I hope you stay and become more aware of reality. It is far more fascinating than many give credit.



And related to "a", check this thread. At least, to me there is a relationship.
 
This little episode shows why psychics usually only do readings for people who believe in psychics. Believers are much more likely to gloss over all of the absolutely horrible misses and pick up on the vague possibility of a hit or two.

That being said, I think Psychicuk is probably sincere in her belief that she has a talent, i.e. deluded rather than fraud. It was very brave to try to make readings for people when she can get no feedback from them. She has learned the proper words to say, but she hasn't learned how to con someone.

Hi Miss Anthrope...We may bond, me and you!! I have never met anyone who grew up with a phsycic parent. So many people thought it was cool but I hated it. I saw her for the control freak she was. I think there are people who have strong intuition, I have that myself...but never would I pretend to "know" things. I explain to my kids that I've lived long enough (41 yrs so far) to understand what will happen when we make certain choices. I tell them to listen to their "red flags" and learn to trust their intuition. Usually, when something happens, anyone can look back and admit it wasn't that big of a surprise in the end. Trust yourself, not someone pretending to have your best interests at heart. Ya know?????????

PS. Miss Anthrop...take THIS love and just know I understand what it was like to live with a phsycic mother!! Heeheehee And I called her my phsychotic mother, not phsycic...

Agreed. I don't doubt her sincerity. I fully believed what I was doing was real and for comfort and information.

I can only hope she looks at my analysis. One highly questionable "hit" in a sea of misses. This is what finally made me investigate my "gift" fully.

If I had been a believer, I'd be building up the hit quite a bit, and leave believing everything.

A fun and interesting thing to do with such cold-readings is to read them to other believers and see how they react. I've done this on Paltalk a few times, posing as a "psychic." I read the cold-reading script from skepdic.com to a few believers, one after the other, the exact same script. The first couple were somewhat amazed as to my abilities, the third time, people started to realize I was reading the same script and they banned me from the room.

I firstly I must let you know that I can't force spirit to give me things. How I work is I let spirit give me whatever information comes, be it names, objects etc. I can ask but if they give me the answers you want..that is entirely up to spirit. I can't also call at will any member of a family i go with whoever pops in first.

I will give it a go for you and see what I can get.

I do get a female spirit side connected to you and she would of passed over with something happening in her head region. Like a stroke or similar but she does show me the head area very much.

This is a very common name Gayak but I ill give it anyway as she wants me to mention David and a Son. She says she still got all her pearly whites and smiles for me. A brother link here with her or yourself to and the name sounding like Jim or Jimmy is given.

About the Gift she says it was just meant for you to have it. You Drive ? because she talks about the car needing an oil change. So check that please if you have not already done so.

She also mentions an anniversary coming up. I know you gave me her date of passing so that could be it. That is the reason i like to work without any information. I don't need any i juts give what they give me and pass it on.

She says nothing could of been done and she would of passed over anyway and not to think about if you could of helped in some way to stop what happened.

There are twins in your family as she is showing me twins.

She gives me a place name called "saskatewan" so that would mean that place links to her, yourself or family and is just a validation from her.

Not sure why she is doing this but she shows me a King Cobra? Which is a snake. So be it an ornament or there is some sort of snake connection I passed it on to you as I give everything they give me as it comes no matter how odd it may seem to me.

She also gives me another place called "Delaware Texas" Usually when they give me Texas they just say Texas but this time Delaware to so just passing it on.

Again as far as I am aware there is no link to a circus for either of my grandfathers or for myself. I have seen circuses in the past and I assume my grandfathers are quite likely to have done so as well but there is no significant connection or any event that is outstanding.

Unfortunately it does not seem as if you made a connection to anyone that knows me or my family whilst both my grandfathers are dead there was nothing in what you posted that seemed to link them to me or anyone in my immediate family. There is someone in the extended family named Shaun however I can think of no reason why that would be a name either of my grandfathers would use to connect to me or anyone in my immediate family.
 
Well her reading was pretty accurate for me. Maybe spirit is playing a joke and giving her info for me and telling her it's for you. Spirit must be a goth too.
 
psychicuk - I know this place can seem quite unfriendly (despite what our strap-line says) however a word of advice - if you have a genuine interest in engaging in a discussion about your ability and claims you will find many of us here are willing to have a friendly discussion with you.

My interest these days is more in trying to understand how people come to believe what they do would you be willing to answer some questions along those lines?
