Can I firstly say I have a male energy around me from spirit side for you who loved music.He is showing me patsy kline, Elvis. He is a father or grandfather type energy with him.

There is also a brother spirit side connected to yourself or this man I have with me at the moment. He is also giving me a "louisiana" place name linked to himself or yourself in some way.

There also must be someone names Pat or Patty in your family because he wants me to send his love to them and just to say he is ok.

That could be why he gave me patsy kline but sometimes they do this with me and it can have a double meaning as in the person or names.

Why would he be showing me (Harry Truman) it could be the name or the actual person so would be linked to him, you or your family.

He also mentions a Beautician so yourself or a close family member would be in that kind of job.

Anyway just take his love please and know they are very much around.

I do not have a million dollars, but I will offer $100.00 U.S. dollars if you can tell me something specific about myself that can not be found through public sources.

Darat has spoken many times about his cats on this here forum, and even posted pictures. I don't recall if any of them were ginger cats, however, talk of Darat's cats might be a warm reading rather than a cold one.

He has (had) (at least) one Maine Coon.

Maine Coons aren't "ginger", by any standards....

Maine Coons can be ginger-coloured. I don't think his were, but any talk of Darat's cats has the potential for being a warm reading.

Thanks for the welcome :) and all I want to say is what I give is from what spirit gives me. I don't look stuff up and never trained to be a medium. It's just something that has always been with me and if I can help to give a little comfort then that is my main goal and nothing else.
 
I have a much simpler challenge.

I have a special, and very unique, gift from my mother who passed away on Dec. 07, 1999. When she gave this item to me, she watched me place it in a particular place in my home. She commented on how great it looked there on several occasions when visiting. It still sits in this same location.

Please consult my mother and tell me any of the following:

1- What is the item she gave me?

2- Where in my home is it displayed?

3- How did she aquire it?

4- Why did she give it to me instead of one of my 6 siblings?

My father is still living, and does not like this type of music. My paternal grandfather died at age 35 and I never knew him. I just called my father, he did not like this kind of music. My maternal grandfather died about ten years ago. He liked Big Band music, not rock n roll or country. My deceased brother liked Depeche Mode.

I do occasionally sing Patsy Kline--actually, I performed it once in my life--and occasionally watch awful Elvis movies. So I'll leave it to readers to decide if in this context it is any kind of hit. My guess is the reader took an "all american" stab. It wouldn't be hard to find someone old enough to be my grandfather or father who liked this type of music.

My brother was born in Texas, raised in Washington State and never visited Louisana. My paternal grandfather never lived in Louisana. My maternal grandfather was born and raised in Texas. Neither had siblings. There is no family connection to the state of Louisana.

My mother in law is named Pat. In this case you may have a hit. However, I have no idea why someone on her side of the family would be hanging around me or sending love.

Completely wrong. My mother's side of the family came to America in the late 1800's. They were Russian Jews. My father was the first born in the US, right off the boat in from Scotland. We are quite famililar with our family geneology and there is no such connection.

Now, to the part I consider PROOF this is just stabbing in the dark, and PROOF that psychics cause harm by trying to offer "comfort".

I should note at this time that my paternal grandfather never knew me, and if he wanted to talk to anyone, it would likely be my father. My grandfather died in my father's presence when my father was still in school. My dad has huge issues with this, and if he had anything to say to any of us, I believe it would be some comfort regarding this situation. His death basically ruined my father's life, in many ways. My father, who believes in this sort of thing, would love nothing more in his life than to hear something about that day.

My maternal grandfather was a child molester that I wasn't allowed to see very often. Since he beat and raped my mother, you might understand why. This right here is an excellent demonstration of why tampering with the memory of the dead can be harmful to people. If I still believed in this stuff, this "he is very much around" would be incredibly disturbing.

That's quite a miss. Due to budget considerations, and travel my husband must take, I don't expect to be going anywhere for several years. I also have an extremely irrational but strong fear of flying and I only do so when I must.

In summary, we have the possibility of hits with my mother in law being named Pat or an out of context hit on Patsy Kline. However, I never knew any of my mother in law's deceased relatives, and find it difficult to believe they would be hanging around me.

In my opinion this reader latched on to some pretty stereotypical bits of "Americana" and went with them. Elvis. Louisiana. Patsy Kline. Harry Truman?!?!

My mother claims to be phsycic...she'd say things like...."I see you in a car accident tonight. Better stay in." 30 minutes after I'd settle into a movie on the couch, she'd ask me to babysit the younger kids so she could go out. Which is why I see it as a form of control. I wonder if she "foresaw" that I wouldn't speak to her again...(been 8 years now...) For many, many more reasons than her control issues.
