In a VOA interview, Tyler Drumheller says the German intelligence service, the B.N.D., shared Curveball's information but never allowed U.S. interrogators to personally question him.

German intelligence indeed. So they 'knew' that their source was lying, but still passed the information onto to the US.

By all accounts, it looks like German intelligence 'misled' the Bush administration to believe that Saddam did indeed have mobile weapon labs. Only 'after' the fact did they say their source was unreliable. In fact, both Tenet and his deputy director said they had NO knowledge that Curveball, the INC defector from whom the Germans got their intelligence was unreliable.

Another remark Kay made during his testimony before a congressional panel in January has not yet become as widely known: "The Germans and their intelligence services believed that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq."

Former US chief weapons inspector David Kay.

Ion...the source the Germans had regarding the mobile weapon labs, CONFIRMED that they existed.
...
You say the Germans said that they existed.

I remember the Germans saying they didn't exist.

They were disputing the photos of silos and trucks.

Nobody found any mobile chemical labs.

So you lie.

Jesus Christ Ion....do you not understand English or something?

I said that the 'source' confirmed that the mobile weapon labs existed, and that they were used to produce biological agents. You know, Curveball, and INC member who defected to Germany in 1999, and began spilling his crap to the Germans, who in turned believed every word he said, and even gave the information to the US.

So no, I did not lie.

That's not the problem.

The problem is that you can't write in your native language.

Never mind learning foreign languages.

So you lie when you criticize other people's education.
False, again. An error in punctuation does not negate coherence of expression, nor my facility with my native tongue.

Tu madre es una butana.

When you learn the difference between an error and a lie, get back to me.

Now, will you retract your lie about what you "knew" in 2003, before the war?

Your ignorance is amusing. Perhaps your best bet would be to research your crap before you post it.

http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/05/13/sprj.irq.mobile.lab/index.html

MOSUL, Iraq (CNN) -- U.S. forces in northern Iraq have found a second suspected mobile chemical weapons laboratory, an American military official told CNN Tuesday.

There is "pretty conclusive evidence" that this is a mobile chemical weapons lab, the official said.

The trailer was discovered near Mosul Saturday by members of the Army's 327th Infantry at a former missile production facility that had been heavily looted. It was made up of refrigeration units and piping, compatible with chemical weapons production. What was also believed to be a spraying device was found nearby, the source said.

Now go away, troll.

Jesus Christ Ion....do you not understand English or something?
He thinks he does.

For a second language, he doesn't do half bad, but for getting facts straight, he sucks.

Is he really from Romania, or is he just a dorque in his Mom's basement playing at it?

Hard to say.

I think he is full of crap.

Oh Ion...care to point out where exactly the Germans said that those labs did not exist?

Even though they clearly did?

The Germans didn't believe there were WMDs in Iraq.

You might find some dissent amongst Germans, but Germany didn't believe there were WMDs in Iraq, and Germany rejected Bush's claims and war.

Germany didn't participate in the war.

Chancellor Schroeder said there were no WMDs and he is anti-war.

Plan of Attack by Bob Woodward says so.

Oh, so now we have switched from the mobile weapon labs, to WMDs.

Strangely enough, I wasn't talking about WMDs...I was talking about the mobile weapon labs, and I'm STILL WAITING for you to provide me proof that the Germans thought the mobile weapon labs DID NOT exist.

Oh, BTW....do you have a problem with the English language? Seems to me you struggle with proper spelling. Since you're going to hold OTHER people accountable to their language and spelling, I shall hold YOU accountable.

Nobody is talking about those infamous WMD. I am talking about the mobile weapon labs....and the part the Germans played in confirming they existed.

It was THEIR source that provided the intelligence. So they ALSO played a part in misleading the US.

Not exactly the great country you're putting up on a pedestal.

Provide me proof that Germany DID NOT BELIEVE THAT THE MOBILE WEAPON LABS EXISTED.

You already lied once by saying they did not exist...when CNN has said otherwise.

It's not an error.

It is that you are uneducated in your native language.

So you lie when you pick on other people's education, especially ones who are brought in U.S. on education.

The mobile labs according to Bush, they were WMDs.

They were to gas people.

That's what Powell conveyed from Bush in U.N..

Germany's Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder, opposed Bush's claim.

Bush lying about the war, that's overwhelming.

The Nigerian uranium enrichment was a forgery that was exposed.

Azure,

how come your country, Canada, rejected in 2003 Bush claims of WMDs?

The mobile labs according to Bush, they were WMDs.

They were to gas people.

Germany's Schroeder opposed Bush's claim.

Schroeder opposed the War in Iraq, yes.

But, prove to me that Schroeder did NOT believe the mobile weapon labs existed.

And for the 10th time, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT WMD. So get over it.

The mobile weapon labs existed, and WERE found in Iraq, although their purpose was something else than the working description the 'German' source provided to 'German' Intelligence, who in turn provided it to the US.

But of course, coming from someone who said this..

You say the Germans said that they existed.

I remember the Germans saying they didn't exist.

They were disputing the photos of silos and trucks.

Nobody found any mobile chemical labs.

So you lie.

I don't expect much better.

Who is lying Ion?

Bush lying about the war, that's overwhelming.

The Nigerian uranium enrichment was a forgery that was exposed.

Why then is British intelligence STILL standing by their original claim that Iraq was trying to purchase uranium from Nigeria?

The intelligence came from British sources, not US...just like the intelligence about the mobile weapon labs came from German sources.

But who lied Ion? Who was lying when he said those mobile labs never existed?

Come on, man up.

In Plan of Attack by Bob Woodward:

.) France,

.) Germany,

.) Sweden,

.) Angola,

.) Mexico,

.) Canada,

they are on the record as not believing Bush's claims of WMDs in Iraq.

Before the book Plan of Attack I saw statements in the newspapers about their disbelief.
