The Kamikazes flew zero's. Zero's had engines in the nose. All the planes the Kamikazes used, had engines in the nose.
I'm not making anything up, there must be film of Kamikaze attacks on wooden decked carriers in WW2. Check it out, they couldn't get through wood.
Fibreglass can't get through steel, no matter how fast it's going.
did you not see the picture i posted? of the giant hole in the (steel) side of a ship?

BTW, if wood has some sort of magic plane-repelling abilities we didnt know about that still wouldnt matter, like the battleship in the picture i posted, the WTC was made of steel

I don't say no planes. I say not 175. I say a rock hard, coming right at you ex military 757. In the Korean war a fighter bounced off the ice covered frozen ground and flew on to land. A couple of years ago a US fighter in the French Alps, sliced through the cables on a cable car with one of it's wings and carried on, as if nothing had happened. Half a dozen or so tourists were killed.
I'm talking that kind of bad boy 757.

And the evidence that such a "bad boy" actually exists is...?

"Probably not", "Probably not". That's OK then, we'll all troop off and hijack a plane or two, or three, or four. We'll probably all get through the metal detectors.:(
they didnt have to take it through the metal detector, they put the GPS in the bin with their wallet, keys and cell phone and the guy hands it back to them after he goes through the metal detector

As I said it would not matter if the entire airport staff knew you had a GPS onboard the aircraft since there was no rule about having one on a plane prior to 9/11. AFAIK it is still quite OK to have one on a plane.

Now find me one that got through a wooden deck.

Actually, if you read the article you will see that wooden deck carriers (US) were considered more vulnerable than the steel decked ones (UK). The angle of attack needed to penetrate a deck is difficult to achieve, you would need to go into a steep climb then a dive. All the while lined up with the perpendicular to the deck, otherwise you would glance off, and avoiding enemy fire. you will also find an example of a steel decked carrier being damaged by these tactics. You can also see the tactics that the Allied Navys used to avoid this happening. Just because it didn't before happen, doesn't make it impossible.

I'll send you to bed with no supper, if you're not careful. Then you won't know how it ends.

I like Jim, so I'm going to tell him how it ends.

I didn't spoil anything. That's how it ALWAYS ends.

As you were already told, by now, kamikazes also flew bombs. Sorry you have no experience, knowledge or the ability to use both to come up with some solid facts. Have you added up all the errors you have made yesterday and today? http://www.answers.com/topic/ohka http://www.b-29s-over-korea.com/firebombing/images/Baka_Bomb2.jpg http://www.b-29s-over-korea.com/firebombing/images/Baka_Bomb1.jpg http://www.bbc.co.uk/shropshire/features/places/cosford/cosford_gallery_03.shtml

Fiberglass? Oops, it did. Sorry, you should stop repeating errors already made, you are knocking up the error count. Someone is counting to see if you have hit the all time most errors posted in one day.

Tell us about the Zero again, it seems appropriate.
Show me a jap kamikaze that got through a carrier deck (they were all made of wood) and I'll agree that half the hijackers are not still alive.

How can you be sure, you won't suddenly wake up?

Jap? Racist much?
Doesn't matter if you AGREE or not, all the hijackers are dead. Sorry, you lose again!
Bet your name isn't even spelled right, is it?

So, can you tell me what differences there are between a military and a civilian 757? Come on, educate me, bright boy! Take me to school, you know so much. You've been spouting nonsense, show us big, bad skeptics you actually can prove what you say!

Unless you can't. And I know you can't.

he seems to be stating that the super duper military plane would have wings constructed of some material that is much harder than steel itself yet also seems reluctant to tell us what that material is. Maybe,,, its because its a classified material that is no denser tha aluminum but has the strength properties of case hardened steel

why the deck? as cptcolumbo mentioned angle of attack (not relative strength of the aircraft) is what makes this difficult

heres the side of that battleship again

heres some info on the type of ship http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benham_class_destroyer
