The Money Masters

Its radical I know...but my suggestion would be to charge the proponets with treason and civil charges for how ever many trillion is found necessary.

So we charge them for a crime that was legal until we decided to stop it and make it retroactively illegal.

Stellar - I'm still wondering why a Boston suburb is such a more desirable location than Erie, Pennsylvania that it commands more than double for a house.

I don't know anything about either location, so theres not much I can state.

Theres more of us and we have fancier toys but what has really changed?

You mean besides the abolishon of slavery? Besides changing from a manufacturing to a service economy? Expansion, immigration flows, super power status, a Cold War, etc etc?

With gold prices being around $750-$800 per ounce, what is a dollar worth based on gold? The free market value of gold fluctuates heavily, in spite of there being a gold surplus of about 100 tonnes. And what value do we place on goods and services? Should a loaf of bread equal a gram of gold? Or a dollar's worth of gold? And if the market fluctuates, does the bread lose value, or the dollar?

Another small problem - your concept would only work if you could reconstruct the entire global economy to match - which would require a single world government.

So you're a globalist, then? Welcome aboard!

Because some people are desperate to live near a cheap knock off of New York.

These "private banks" are not private, and they're not for-profit. They are beholden to their mandate from the federal government, and they don't decide how much money is printed or how much interest is charged. That would be the board of governors.

which non-profit banks would these be?

I just don't see a conspiracy, be it a "world" conspiracy.

All gold is forcibly confiscated from law-abiding citizens, a monopoly over money is granted to a small group of people, when formerly it was a market function, people are forced to accept fiat money in payment of debt, and you see no conspiracy?

Suppose I declared a monopoly on the production of music, and all music had to come from me, and if you attempted to produce music, my thugs would imprison you. Wouldn't that be a conspiracy, hmmmm?

Think about our monetary system this way:

If a bank puts $1000 into circulation, there’s only $1000 out there to use, right? Now, if 10% interest is charged, that means they expect $1100 back, correct?

How in the world can you pay back $1100 to someone if there's only $1000 in existence for you to use? The short answer? You Cant!

The result is complete and inevitable slavery to money.

My God, that is one of the stupidest things I have ever read. Have you not ever heard of the concept of a profitable investment? Do you honestly think the money supply has remained constant, that there has always been the same amount of money since the beginning of time. We will just split up the money the same for a $12 trillion high tech economy as we did when the iron plow was considered an ingenious invention.

it only requires a few minor modifications to the bill of rights, nobody would mind that, right?

I don't believe the bill of rights says anything about treason. But when I used the word treason it was as hyperbole...what I mean is for them to be severely punished for their disloyalty to America.

actually i was thinking about ex post facto laws (you know, making soemthign illegal then charging them for doing it before the law was passed)

but you are right, there is nothing in the bill of rights about that.....its in the main body of the constitution

All gold is forcibly confiscated from law-abiding citizens/quote]
then what the hell is my high school ring made out of? and my mothers wedding ring? and all my grandmothers jewelry?

i think you mean to say that gold coins were confiscated, but i think those belonged to the government in the first place, just like my debit card belongs to my bank

So when you said "Location" as your answer earlier, what you meant to say is "I have no idea". Gotcha.

I'll answer the question for you. The average median income is higher in Boston suburbs than it is in Erie. Houses sell for more money because they can.
