Well, maybe. It would depend on what he had to say. I figure he'll make excuses and continue to believe in his fairytale.

If he posts any sort of "I guess I was wrong/taken for a ride/deluded" type of apology without starting all over with similar claims here or elsewhere, I'm inclined to forgive him. Otherwise, I want him called on it.

Well, I'm pretty sure that he won't say that. He's already said that he is completely convinced that this spirit is real and is the spirit of Jesus and that nothing can change his mind. He's really only here to try to change our minds. So if the spirit refuses to take any of the various tests proposed here, he'll either come up with an excuse or take to hear the excuse the medium gives him.
 
I was thinking about this this morning and it occured to me that the following scenario was likely:

Medium (as spirit): The Spirit of Jesus does not play parlor tricks! I am displeased! Pay this medium lots of money to appease Me!

I meant "take to hearT", btw. Sigh. Well, we'll see. Unless, of course, PC has to pawn his plane ticket and can't afford the Internet Cafe fees in order to appease the spirit...
 
I hadn't thought about the timing before. Maybe the spirit is too busy hanging out with his followers this week to attend the seance.
 
I'm betting on some misdirection. "PC, I cannot waste time guessing the content of boxes because the end time is coming and I have to prepare you for it. You will see the following signs: TV shows that were once good will get kind of stale after a while; Most of the current US Presidential candidates will eventually drop out; Weather will continue to happen; Somebody somewhere will do something and it is up to you to determine what I mean by this; The seas will turn to Blood on August 14, 2007 at 3:47 ... ah, I'm just messing with you; Paris Hilton will make an ass out of herself in public; and finally the son of satan will be born at some point in the future. PeaceCrusader, I am sorry your application went down the drain. Not really surprised, but sorry. Seeing you posting again speaks definitely for you. Usually, these claims simply fade away. We seem to have reached a conclusion with your claim.

If you can, please tell us how the conversation with the "spirit" went. I know I asked this before - it's important to me. What exactly did you ask, what exactly was the response.

Which conclusions do you draw from the "spirit's" refusal to cooperate on the test?

I imagine it was something like that the 'spirit of jesus' does not need any proving and those who wish not to believe in it can do so. Belief is what sets apart the religious and non religious. It is similar to what Sylvia Brown and the likes are saying when asked why not take the $1M challenge. They need no proving of their abilities. You may wish not to believe them and that's fine with them.
