For someone that supposedly is operating and interpreting these scriptures "in the spirit" your back handed name calling and condensending attitude tells me your simply operating "in the flesh" and interpreting these scriptures to fit into your own beliefs. If you base Americas materialism as the key identifying feature then you have not traveled the world much becuase materialism is all over the world. And while the U.S. may be the wealthiest right now give China another 25 - 50 years and we won't hold a candle to her materialism and wealth.

O.K. so this destruction of America happens BEFORE the TRIBULATION…Why because this destruction of America allows the Russian A.C. to remove all opposition from his RISE to total power after he also breaks the other two nuclear powers on his way to take over the religious capital of the world Jerusalem.
This happens scripturially before the Tribulation starts, because the Tribulation starts AFTER the A.C. has went into the soon-to-be constructed Jewish Temple on the MOUNT. And thus concludes the FINAL destruction of Babylon the Whore, because there is the initial destruction of America that helps unite the world against her perfidity and then the final destruction of the A.C.'s Babylon the Whore that drinks the blood of the souls of the martyr's for Jesus.
