I assume all of these people have written several papers that refute the official line, which have been peer reviewed and published in respected scientific journals?

SCG, I think you left off

Rosie O'Donnell - Daytime talk show Hostess
Charlie Sheen - Actor (who frequents prostitutes)

Steven E. Jones Ph.D. (Professor of Physics, Brigham Young University , co-chair of Scholars for 9/11 Truth http://www.scholarsfor911truth.org/)

ok, I've seen his work so far.

Kevin Ryan (Former Site Manager for Environmental Health Laboratories, a division of Underwriters Laboratories, the company that certified the steel in the Twin Towers)

....and his academic qualifications on any element of 9/11 are?

Eric Douglas (New York City architect Chair of the Independent Peer Review Committee for the NIST WTC Reports at http://www.nistreview.org)

Sounds like an alright chap...is he woo or not?

Brian Duncan (Fire Protection Engineering)

Does he have a degree in it, or is it just a hobby. What has he said about what happened on 9/11?

Judson Witham (High Rise/Mid Rise/Low Rise Construction/demolition)

Are those her interests, or does she have academic qualifications in those areas...expertese, how so?

Michael Gass (Air Force Explosive Ordnance, Disposal Specialist, Bomb disposal technician)

sounds good....what has he said about 9/11?

Victoria Ashley (Architecture and physiology, 911research.wtc7.net)

Odd combination...interesting...must look her up.

Rein A. Roos (Airborne Dust and Aerosol Specialist)

Has he done any papers on the dust samples from GZ? Like to read it.

Joseph M. Phelps (Structural Dynamicist Charter Member, Structural
Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers)

Interesting...has he put his view out there, or is he a silent member.

Tom Spellman (Civil engineering, architecture)

Bachelors or PhD, or a hobby?

Eric Hermanson (Engineering Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Software Architect)

What is the difference in a software architect and software engineer?

Nick Hull (Particle Physics, geocities.com/CapitolHill/)

What about Particle Physics...is it his middle name?

Peter Kirsh (Forensic pathologist)

I would love to hear his comments on the DNA analysis and body recover etc... has he done anything on it?

Paul Landis (Industrial engineering, Author of “A Real 9/11 Commission”)

Is that book a scientific or opinion text? Hate to see his Industrial Engineering qualifications go to waste...never heard of an Industrial engineer before.

Spero Larres (Physics and Mathematics, Rutgers University )

I did those courses as well, and chemistry, biochemistry, German, Biology, Botany, and many others.

Michael Lovingier (Structural/Environmental Engineering)

Bachelors...PhD...hobby?

Doyle Winterton (Civil Engineering Structural Engineering)

ditto

Frank Carmen (Physics Ph.D., BYU)

Stephen's friend or foe...what does he think about the 9/11 CTs?

Michael Maguire (Mechanical engineering, Aeronautical engineering)

Bachelors...PhD...hobby?

Ted Muga (Naval aviator; Commercial pilot; Structural engineering)

Sounds like a pilot alright...is he a structural engineer? Bachelors? PhD?

Jim Hoffman (scientist, mathematician, and author http://www.wtc7.net)

He is a software Engineer also is he not?

He's horny, so what?

His hottie wife and he broke up, he's horny, he engages in wenchery for hire.

How does this matter?

Wow, you have listed some of the 0.00067 percent of all US engineers who have joined the liars of 9/11 truth movement. Not very many.

I have always wondered how Dr Jones' expertise in "cold" fusion helps his loony tune ideas on thermite? Do you know how this would work?

Frank Carmen (Physics Ph.D., BYU)

Anyone know who this is, his field of study or current affiliation? I haven't found any publications for him on the physics preprint server at lanl.gov, but that's not definitive without knowing his particular field of study.

According to the BYU directory he is neither a current student or faculty member. Alumni requires a password. Maybe BYU is where he got his PhD? However, entering "Frank Carmen" into the search box of the web site also produced no results for Frank Carmen. I also used Francis as the first name.

This speaks directly to his character for two reasons. First, it is a crime almost everywhere in the US (including where he lives), so he is an admitted criminal and repeat offender. Whether you agree with the law or not, it is the law.

Second, it is frowned upon by a certain demographic. Therefore, a certain portion of people that will dismiss him out-of-hand because of this. I am not one of these people, but it will matter to some people.

A few years ago I saw him on "Dennis Miller Live," I think the show was about road rage. Right at the beginning of the interview Sheen lit a cigarette, then asked if it was legal for him to smoke there. When he was told it wasn't he said, "I'll just pay the f[rule8]ing fine." I immediately took a dislike to him, because IMO he was saying that as long as your rich and famous the rules don't apply to you. What an a-hole.

I can't imagine why Richards got a restaining order against him.

This guy runs a golf course.

I do not believe this is correct. I have seen the claim that he runs a golf course in FL, but the address listed on his CA license is the same as the one in the ASCE database. He is in Long Beach, CA, as far as I can tell - his phone and email are available if anyone thinks this is a significant enough question to contact him over. Otherwise, I would rather leave an 80+ year old man alone - which is where he is in relation to the professional engineering community, and definitely the California structural engineering community.

The problem I have with the list provided of supposed "truth" scientists, is unlike the NIST scientists which have conducted investigations on the 9/11 attacks, I have seen little proof that any of the listed "truther" scientists have done anything even close, except for Jones maybe.

I get hundred of people with an academic background to join a group, in a variety of ways...big deal. Show me some of their scientific work, in their field of expertese, that contradicts the "official" version.

This was covered at SLC some time ago. Most of the people listed by SCG were less than full members of st911, meaning they need not disclose any credentials and they are only required to list areas of interest.

St911 Join Us Page said:
If you do not have an academic affiliation, you can still become an associate member of the society. Just tell us about your interests and ways in which you might be interested in assisting the society.

After removing less than full members, the list looks like:

Steven E. Jones Ph.D.
Kevin Ryan
Joseph M. Phelps

Some of the names aren't even Associate Members anymore(Doyle Winterton). Quite a difference, eh?

Regardless of what you believe, it is correct.

Joseph M. Phelps

Joseph M. Phelps, P.E., a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California and a PLGA professional, teaches our Turf Management class.

Joe, who has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the California Institute of Technology, has held a number of positions in the fields of golf and engineering. Those positions include Vice President – Engineering of Turnkey Golf Projects, Inc., Director of Golf Technology Consultants, and Commissioner of the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.

He is a course owner, and a member of the United States Golf Association and a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Joe is also President of the American Lite Golf Association, and author of Stress Free Golf.

A rule of thumb, if it was on Screw Loose Change, it was probably correct. :D

A search of publications for the physics specialities I'm familiar with reveals only a "F. Carmen" that turned out to be a mistake. Perhaps more tellingly, the current http://stj911.org/ members list shows "Frank Carmen" has having no degree, title or institutional affiliation.

Thus we bring the total number of real physicists in that list down to ZERO. (Jones doesn't count).

Well, he's a physicist. He went to school and got a degree or two. He's just not a very credible or good one.

Then again, that could describe me, but my degree is in Theatre Arts (minor in English Literature), not physics.
