• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

architects and engineers for truth, population 1

From his "resources" page:

We'll see you back... in January!

I hope he's OK! :D

Oh, I forgot; the attention span of the typical troofer is akin to a cracked-out fruit-fly.

Why do "professionals" put up a web site that virtually labels them a nut case?

He is looking for more members? I have two of the smartest engineers in the world here on a post of woo. GB and WR, come on down you are the 2nd and the 3rd members of the new home of not too smart truthers...

Hmmm....I've been in a building before.

Maybe I should join this group.

I note that a Google search for "Richard Gage, AIA" returns only one result--the AETruth homepage.

Well, he'll be the first of my colleagues I've come across to come out against it - but every family has at least one black sheep. I shall await his "evidence" with interest.

So, we have more architects and engineers (in related fields of engineering to boot) that post on this board than they do in their entire movement. Neat.

That delightful scamp Scooby was referring to this web page as evidence of expert Truthers.

Don't tell me Scooby was being dishonest.

Scooby wouldn't just make stuff up and pretend it was true, would he?

Scooby wouldn't claim the support of dozens of experts if there weren't any, would he?

Because if Scooby did all that, he would be a liar.

Scooby wouldn't tell lies in the name of truth, would he?

Richard Gage, AIA, Architect

The only theory that is supported by the evidence is controlled demolition with explosives," Gage says. "You could never get a collapse event of that speed through 80 floors of intact steel structure. The laws of physics simply don't allow it.

There, finished the point he was trying to make!:)

SCG, haven't you learned yet that if someone's credentials aren't listed on the "scholars" site, it generally means that person lacks those credentials and have not worked in the fields listed?

Don't take my word for it: ask Steven Jones and Jim Fetzer. I dare you.

Do you wonder why none of these people have written any "scholarly" papers that we can refer to?

I suggest reading these pieces at SLC on the scholars' credentials, and their dishonest ways of enrolling and listing members.

SCG,

a) Read my other recent threads in posts around here for sources, but UL did not certify the steel used in the WTC buildings.

b) Can you please show me the papers that these "experts" have written that have been published in a respected scientific journal. (Implies the passing of the peer-review system).

Funny, isn't it?

NIST says UL didn't certify the steel

UL says UL didn't certify the steel

No one has produced a copy of the mythical certificate

But a former employee who didn't even work in an area with anything to do with steelwork or fire proofing makes a claim to the contrary and the 'truther' sheep believe him.

And then they wonder why they come in for so much ridicule.

It's going to be fun finding out how Ryan's unfair dismissal claim goes.....
