Which explains why you voted for Pat Buchanan instead of Al Gore in 2000.Damn: B. What really sucks is that I many of my wrong answers were not the result of not knowing, but rather the result of accidentally choosing the wrong answer. I suppose that is all the more reason for me to not vote.
And yet, well-educated people (I include Ladewig and Upchurch in that group) only get B's (I got an A, BTW - missed one person and that person's occupation). Imagine how badly someone who only casually follows the news would do.Seems like a rather dumb test to me. Face recognition as a requirement for voting?
The only change I would make is adding the answer choice "no one of any importance" to most of the actors' answer options. Being able to recognize Madonna or Paris Hilton should not in any way determine one's political literacy.
I don't follow the news casually, but I am someone who only follows printed news. I am proud to say I don't recognize Paris Hilton and can't spell Christine Agularia. When I read the paper, I skip over those sections. And yet, well-educated people (I include Ladewig and Upchurch in that group) only get B's (I got an A, BTW - missed one person and that person's occupation). Imagine how badly someone who only casually follows the news would do.

It's cool Darat, so long as you got Tony Blair, the rest were of dubious difference: is politics any more than entertainment anymore, in America?
