Nah, don't think I will join you either. Not my idea of fun. Trudging in sand, stifling heat and very hot sun is no life for me. I will be a happy heathen and stay where it is cool and green. I am not a child of Israel and have no desire to follow their steps.

But we go the opposite direction as we are fleeing from the wrath of the AC.... we fight only indefense of our own...

Achor, then crossing the Jordan, then stopping at Mount Nebo, then downward , battling at Boozrah etc... til we reach Petra.

The Jews know the prophecies, and think they somehow will be there, but they have to have the Lord, and without receiving the Messiah they shan't have the supplier needed to provide the food, the water, the protective cloud to stop the oppressive heat.

This we get via the Lord's provision fire, and cloud.

Petra, is the rock city in the wilerness talked about in Old testament prophecies, the wilderness city that gets reinhabited, and will perfectly settle 144,000 easily in its protective walls.

The whole route is planned and yet can only be taken in His TIME, under His leadership. Now, it is a mere tourist destination for the hardy.

Yes, let's get back to prophecy. Why did you change the dates? Your first prophecy did not come to pass so you changed the dates. Your prophecy failed. You are a false prophet.

Didn;t... I attempted to save him, as I saw his body out in the surf. Ran in hopes of saving his life, but he was obviously dead as his stomach was swollen and his eyes open but lifeless.

I brought him to shore, and the paramedics were there within minutes, but I knew he was gone.

For as I was coming ashore the Lord tolf me

Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.

At that point in my life, I stopped being a missionary and just wanted to be an outdoorsman, a fisherman, maybe a fishing quide, but the Lord taught me otherwise.

As people were dying and drowning without Him, and if I continued on my path, MORE would drown without him, and so I went back to being a full TIME missionary, and glad I did.

Not being negative at all sweetie, being absolutely positive that I don't want any part of your delusion. I live in the real world. What will you do when the time comes and your wonderful prophesies don't come to pass? Hhhmm? Do the same as all the others and move the date? Come up with lame excuses? The inquiring mind wants to know DJJ.

:jaw-dropp how extraordinarily rude!! mean, vindictive and cruel. i've been to israel, to all the spots one can go in the short time i was there... wandered through the markets in jerulselum to the church of the holy Sepulchre. drifted in the dead sea trying not to fart (cause my buddy did and said that the salt retraced the exiting gas back up). i swam at elat in the red sea, and drove endless miles in the israel heat. and that's just one trip. i've been to the top of the eifel tower, asked a (true) scotsman what was under his kilt, toasted the bar in dublin on st. pat's day, been faster than the speed of sound... all in a 2 year period... and today i get to watch my own children squeal with delight at a park... (though we were looking forward to the slides.) i could go on a bit more, but i've boasted enough; i've lived and continue to live, to claim otherwise is not fair in one hand and down right wrong in the other. you know nothing about my life, nor the lives of the others here. to say that i don't believe that god created the majestic monterey bay doesn't make it any less wonderful and beautiful.

The way I see it is that schools and parents too, do not teach one thing that is more important than probably anything thing else that needs to be taught, and that is how to break down ideas (and or) concepts and test them to see if they hold up to critical thinking.

There are a few people on this forum and on other forums that I go to that have shown that they do not know how to do this. And when given other points of view and new information, they refuse them outright by sighting themselves as an example because only they see this new idea (and or) thought. They we give examples that don’t hold up and will defend with more poor examples (and or) just ramble on.

But mainly they will refute science without knowing how science truly works. They have no understanding that science is always in flux and they see that as a weakness, but what they don’t understand is that, that is what makes it stronger. They state that science doesn’t know everything, well science has never said that, and they greatly underestimate what it does know.
