Hi everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone on here had any good ideas on how to make the Sylvia Browne Myspace Parody better. I'm sure whoever is responsible probably posts here as well.

I haven't posted enough to be able to post url's, but after the profile[dot]myspace[dot]com[slash], it's

index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=143288786

I'm getting:

Invalid Friend ID.
This user has either cancelled their membership, or their acccount has been deleted.

:: shrug ::

Shoot, when I put the link, it automatically puts a space in between the 3 and 2 at the end of the URL. Delete that space and it works.

OMG! This is hilarious! You gotta read the posts. Killtown is in there:
Hi, Sylvia. I have information about 9/11, and I was hoping you could use your psychic powers to help me tie my information to some liars and dead people and help me nail the real perps.

Please check out my explosive information on camera battery covers, smoke plumes, and senior thesises.
To answer the question in the OP, the fresh posters every day make it hilarious enough. BTW, Rebecca's in there.

sylvia browne's MySpace Parody page said:
Heros: All the brave police officers and firefighters who drowned in the world trade center buildings on 9/11.

Oh, that's masterful!

This is great! I love the comments by people who actually believe it's the REAL Sylvia. Pretty sweet. Makes me feel wicked smaht.

Hilarious parody site, but it saddens me how many people think it's her real myspace site. I mean shouldn't the "Occupation: Pretend psychic" be sufficient to make them suspicious??

Who I'd like to meet:
People who aren't skeptical of anything, and are subconsciously very willing to go along with a cold reading, and anyone who's not James Randi.

:D :D

That site -primarily the peoplewho think it's really Sylvia-is an example of why some people are so easily duped!
Being sucked in on a fake myspace about a fake psychic! Brilliant.

Almost makes me want a MySpace just to add comments.But I can't be bothered!

It's bloody brilliant!
The events of 9/11 came to be in dreams in the week prior. I was able to predict exactly what happened in the week following the event.

Sylvia's Companies
Nirvana Foundation for Psychic Research
Santa Clara, CA US

Securities Fraud; Grand Larceny

Ah hell, I could quote the whole page! The comments are icing on the cake. This one is particularly odd;

Thanks for adding me as a friend. If this is the real Soviet Brown, thank you and keep up the good work. I do a more professional psychic medium and author, and people like you bring credibility and respect to our profession. If there's anything I can do for you just let me know. Scott. www.ConnectWithScott.com

???

PS - That guy's site is a great read in itself. Love the promo line for his book-

Bridging the Gap has been met with rave reviews from Shirley MacLaine, Magazines, Book Reviewers and readers the world over.

:D

And of course the usual outright falsehoods;
Scott has been branded, by those who have worked with him, as "The Ethical Psychic". He is honored to have earned this designation. Scott also works with celebrities, politicians, various law enforcement agencies & the medical community.

Has this guy been "targetted" by any sceptics before? I suspect he's too small-time.

I'll come clean, it was me. I did it out of boredom one day, as an obvious joke. Forgot all about it, logged in a week later to a gazillion messages from people saying "Will I ever find my true love?"

It's actually sort of depressing, how many people can read that page and not figure out it's making fun of Sylvia Browne. Even if it wasn't making fun of her, it's sad that people will assume it's really her and send really personal questions (family health, legal, etc..).

I've been trying to push the boundaries lately. Last week I sent out an important bulletin as my "response to critics in the media", with a link to the 1/26 Anti-Sylvia Swift Bulletin. A lot of people read it, got confused, messaged me with angry tones, and I replied "I'm not sure, I think my account was hacked". Then I followed up with another bulletin, saying the previous bulletin was a result of negativity on someone's part, and warning people not to read it because of the dark energy it contained. That led to more confused messages from people who had read both bulletins, asking if they'd be affected by the dark energy.

All in all, it's definitely opened my eyes to how much her average fan WANTS to believe in what you tell them; they'll completely block out everything else.

If anyone has any great predictions or info that should be added, send it my way.
