There was no DNA match. no fingerprint match, the only "evidence' was that she was upset he didn't review her paper in a timely matter. Hey while your at it why not put up a Jon Benet Ramsey myspace page implicating her parents who haven't been cleared yet. Oh we get it. theres no 911 connection to exploit. Same as theres no 911 connection to exploit concerning the van they had in custody for six months. it does not fit your agenda driven conspiracy.

In November, 2001, the New Haven Register reported that the New Haven Police Department had had a 1982 Dodge van--formerly tan but now painted white--in their custody for six months, and that this van was believed to be connected to the Jovin case. The van was owned by an unidentified Guilford resident at the time of the crime, who had been questioned by the police several times as of November 2001. The resident claimed no involvement whatsoever in the case, claimed he knew where his van was at the time of the crime, and agreed to provide a DNA sample. His brother, a Yale graduate student, was also questioned by the police. He refused to provide a DNA sample but also claimed no involvement whatsoever in the crime. There is no known evidence that either knew or had ever met Jovin.
Why would the police keep her thesis? They must think it's evidence so therefor they must think it has something to do with her death. Would you disagree with that assessment. If yes, then please explain why they would keep her paper.

Are you saying that the police have the evidence against killklowns suspect, but haven't charged him, prosecuted or convicted him because they can't establish a MOTIVE?

I was the one who talked to the detective, and I want to make it plain that I in no way implicated Killtown. In fact, I specifically told him that I did NOT think KT was involved. I made it plain to the detective that my ONLY interest was in getting this disgusting MySpace page taken down, by any means that he felt appropriate. What he's going to do, I don't know. My guess is that he'll contact the family lawyer and have them contact MySpace to delete it.

Using the name of a murder victim to promote one's off-the-wall 9/11 theories is beyond reprehensible.

I agree completely. The sad part is these dolts see NO PROBLEM with going about promoting their cause in this way. In fact, they actually seem to believe that the JREF'ers are trying to impede something or that "we're not interested in finding the kiiller..." as if this charade is actually able to accomplish what years of police work have not.

The last witness to see Suzanne walking from Phelps Gate also see a clean cut white guy with blonde hair and glasses. When she say Van de Velde on TV the following day, she freaked out because she thinks it was Veld she saw. Velde also has no confirmed alibi and lives 3 blocks from the scene. Suzanne was also complaining about him months before.

Witnesses at the scene heard a man and women argue then heard Suzanne say, "I can't believe you're doing this!" as if she was speaking to someone she knew.

All signs point that Suzanne knew her killer and was driven to the scene by him.

I'll let the detective make that decision, whether to contact the family directly or their lawyer. This isn't policing; this is preventing the misuse of a murder victim's name and, not incidentally, preventing the slander of an innocent man. Killtown won't go to jail for this; what he's done isn't a crime. It is morally repugnant, though, and I do feel justified in trying to stop it.
