Dylan gets a letter from a '9/11 victim'

One of my good friends is working on the PenRen project, specifically on the memorial garden dedicated to all of the victims of the terrorism that took place there on September 11th, and let me assure you, the final product will be simply wonderful. The design is understated, respectful, and yet powerfully evocative and meaningful.

That is one a favorite web site; Dylan and LC should drop in.

One of my fav's too. It truely is an absolute work of art.

Since he had no money to film his own movie, he started cutting together video and photos off the internet, creatively editing them to make them scary and ominous, cutting the visuals to fit the story, making a fake documentary. Like Spinal Tap, only about mass murder.

So, so funny, and yet so so tragic, at the same time. Absolute genius of observation.

Damn right. I've got it bookmarked and have quoted this from page 2 a number of times:

And that, is the conspiracy mindset.

It's not a belief in corrupt leaders. Hell, we all believe in corrupt leaders. It's a belief in a corrupt everybody. It's driving around in a world where every single person you see out of your windshield is utterly bloodthirsty and amoral, all except for you and a few, brave friends. What could make you feel more important than that?

Kudos to David Wong, independent thinker (and now JREFer) extraordinaire.
