Why should we believe he even asked for them ?

Besides, how would dogs have exposed a hoax? They simply wouldn't have found anything ..

And we are to believe there were no other dogs except those in B.C., available for tracking ?

The fact that no seriousBigfoot researcher has never mounted an expedition with tracking dogs, is nothing but a clear signal that even the believers like Meldrum, know deep down that there is nothing at the end of the trail. ( Except maybe a wooden foot .. A rubber one ? A bear ? A buffalo hide ? .... )

If the real deal, some dogs have been observed cowering in fear, others have gone right in and been torn to bits by something.

In one account, the dog (White Lady, I think), didn't do much of anything at all.

In one, in the North Cascades, I believe, they studied the area to see if it had sufficient food to sustain an animal requiring an estimated 5000 calories a day. They hung Myonczynski's snags in a suspected food source in hopes of snagging some DNA. The area is barely accessible on horseback.

He's made trips to the Siskyous, the Blue Mountains and the Southern Rockies prior to getting any gifts, evidently at his own expense.

Newspaper editors and cultural anthropologists would be tops on my list to call to examine footprints. Can't imagine why the zoologists weren't on a plane that afternoon.

The BC Museum sent Abbott to investigate the Blue Creek Mountain/Onion Mountain tracks. I have no idea why they didn't send a zoologist.

Roger tried calling Abbott after the filming because he knew he had an interest. Green spent about $100 calling other scientists closer to the area. I can't imagine why the zoologists weren't on a plane that afternoon either.

(The respose was that they would wait to see the film and then they would know all about it.)

Interesting story about Bob Titmus

Seems he had an "encounter" with a Bigfoot at Bluff Creek two years before the PGF. He never saw the Bigfoot but did find footprints the next morning. After he saw the Patty tracks he became certain that it was the same Bigfoot. Did he cast tracks from his encounter at Bluff Creek?

Claims that the same individual can be recognized from different times and places continue to amaze me. With humans, we need complete fingerprints or toeprints to identify individuals of the population, but with BF, we only need a poorly preserved footprint showing no dermal details at all...amazing! Then again, since they can have 3, 4, 5, or 6 toes, maybe it's easier to match up foot morphology without that pesky dermatoglyphic data...

Here it is again. It was posted by GF on BFF.

So, the "as per" is GF's. What is there to indicate distance on Timus' map? I don't think anyone has claimed they were 20'-30' away when they first saw her. Roger got to within about 80'. She was 120' away at the time she turned, according to Krantz.

Titmus' drawing was not an exact, scaled map; it was a diagram, a sketch. GF is showing it's off? Okay, it's off. There's no highly detailed work from the film site because all involved thought there'd be a capture within months (conversation between John Green and Chris Murphy concerning events in 1967).

Below is Dahinden's diagram, which is scaled, showing important landmarks, and Murphy's work with it from pg. 58, Meet the Sasquatch. Not the same thing, of course, but Dahinden was measuring.
