No actually...me taking time out of my life to try and get justice for the victims of 9/11 equals caring. (Justice will only come when America has united as a whole. Enough is enough. You have come to a forum for skeptics, critical thinkers, debunkers, and scientific process with your posts. You have been posting here for a number of months. It is time for you to make a decision.

If you truly believe that the events, as described by the 9/11 Commission repoirt and other official sources, to be incorrect (either intentionally, or by error), then get your act together. On these forums you have been provided with ample information on how to investigate, gather evidence, corraborate evidence, and present it in a scientifically, and logically, valid manner. Use these tools to put together a case that holds up to scrutiny.

If, on the other hand, you put together these theories because you are bored, dislike the current administration, enjoy mental masturbation, or other reasons; then shut up.

Regardless of which of the above is true (you believe exactly what you state, or not) you actions are an insult to people who died on that day, and those that have died since then in taking action to try to ensure the safety of the US and its allies. You slander and libel against people. If your theories are correct you do a disservice by failing to present them in a manner that can truly bring injustice to light; and if your theories are incorrect, you are spreading disinformation.

In short, put up or shut up. Either make a coherent; scientifically and logically valid, argument or go chase UFOs, bigfoot, or some other bogeyman.

If I was going to do that, for those reasons, than I would have made the desired 'target' more obvious. Like maybe tapes issued to all news networks from pretend terrorists claiming responsibility and laughing at it - to ensure that nation was incensed enough to encourage me to go get them. Or maybe a telegram to Bush "from Sadam Hussein" that could be widely shown to the media, saying 'how'd you like me now, bubba?'.

You know, something that left no room for debate about the guilty party who would then of course deserve to be invaded.

What's your theory behind why they would blame Bin Laden, to invade Hussein?

Oh, it also did not include any necessary killing of American civilians.

So Bush really wanted to invade Afghanistan, so they staged the 9/11 attack to give him carte blanche to do so? Why? (note: do yourself a favor and don't mention the fantasy oil pipeline).

Surely you're not saying that 9/11 was staged so we could invade Iraq, that makes no sense. It took us a year and a half, with lots of diplomatic (or un-diplomatic) efforts, and still never mentioning that our invasion is a result of 9/11 but some business about suspected WMDs and Hussein's occasional shooting at our planes.

Thank you for your careful explanation. However, I understood all of that before. As has been pointed out, Kennedy threw the people behind this report to the wolves.

What fascinates me about the CT obsession with Operations Northwood is not simply its use to isolate its target audience (Kennedy wouldn't, but would Bush? The Bush supporters leave, and the Bush detractors think about it). The desire to see 9/11 as a Northwoods-type false flag has given us such quixotic quests as the attempt to show that the planes as commercial flights never existed (the BTS database manipulation, already referred to by 28th) and that the passengers themselves never existed.

I believe it was Holmgrem that scoured the available Social Security records of the passengers and concluded that since many didn't apply for the death benefit or were not listed there, that they must not have existed. The database isn't a complete record of all Americans by any means, and many of the people on the planes were not collecting Social Security anyway. That didn't stop CTers from manipulating these data sets to imply that these passengers were created for the purpose of duping the American public into war, just like the suggested drone plane scenario of Northwood.

I think people would be pleasantly surprised if it were ever possible to know the whole truth about such "conversions". I've seen people fretting on CT forums about tiny things - like a bandana found at Shankesville (say) - be shown other evidence about the stuff that can survive a plane crash, then quietly slip away. Others have actually absorbed information about the softening of steel in office fires, etc

The real loudmouth pontificators like 28th, though, just get all the more fired up and entrenched and the effort might even be self-defeating. Maybe even it enables him/her to sharpen and refine their stupidity?
