Bumper sticker. . .(shudder)

....How many times can someone be suspended?

I don't know if there is a limit, except with being banned.

It's like jail. You can get lots of jail sentences until that "life" sentence.

Hell, there are some folks out there that have gotten multiple life sentences even.

I hope he isn't suspended long. He takes a lot of pressure off of me.

I dunno, Hunster. You can at least stay consistent in your arguments. I don't think that CM was....right.

He's fine. I like him, even though he is somewhat anti-Catholic.

He's got spunk. He fights. I like that.

You folks will tune him into a fine fighting machine, I'm sure.

I wonder if he'll again return post suspension and act as if nothing happened. How many times can someone be suspended?
I think Interesting Ian holds the record. He was the only one who had the dicipline to keep under control until his probation was over (which I think is three months). And he had the good sense to tone it down once he was warned. I think they finally had to say, "next time, Ian, you're gone no matter how long it has been."

I don't think there is a specific rule for the number of suspensions.

But CM will never make it anywhere near that far, I predict. And you know, it's kind of a shame, because when he's sober, he can be an okay guy. He's one of the few "frequent ranters" who has the courtesy to apologize after a bender. He even admits from time to time that he could be wrong. However, unlike some of our ubertrolls, he is not the least bit interesting when he is on the rampage. He's just disgusting.

(To the tune of "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria", from The Sound of Music, of course)

How do you solve a problem like Canadian?
How do you take a troll and make him nice?
How do you say a thing to say to aid him?
"Stop messing with Sling,
Or your career here's
On ice"?

How do you find a way to reach Canadian?
How do you get him not to post while drunk?
And how do you make him learn
It's him that his flaming burns?
How do you ask him not to be a skunk?

Oh, how do stop the ranting of Canadian?
Maybe we'll have him handcuffed to DeBunk.

Well, if the traditional definition of berserker is what you mean by "fine fighting machine" then yes, that could just happen.

That's not what I mean at all.

Like Tricky noted, he can apologize and be pointed back on track. Yet he has spunk. He's unafraid. He's willing to fight.

It's like The Atheist. He's a good fighter, too, and he has some balance.

As opposite as they both are, I like them both.

Eh...I see your point.

You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye
I say hello

I say hello

I'd agree with that, to a certain extent, but I would prefer him more coherent.

I can't decide if he posts drunk or if he just turns into a werewolf sometimes...:D

I was trying to figure out what he'd done as nothing here seemed worthy of more than a mild warning.... apparently it was in the Beast Prophet thread; went to calling someone out for a fight again. Seems to be the same timing as before - early hours of the morning in Canada, so I kinda suspect is alcohol related, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, but he's not a good fighter. He's like a soldier that charges into battle, trips over his shoestrings and impales himself on his own bayonette. Or even worse, shoots his own troops. He hurts the cause of Christianity by making them look like violent, incoherent sleaze-bags (when he is drunk).

There's one person you don't want on your team and that is a dedicated incompetent.

It's like The Atheist. He's a good fighter, too, and he has some balance.
TA has a tendency to injure himself on his entrenching tool too. He's not in CM's class though.

As opposite as they both are, I like them both.
I do to, most of the time. Sometimes though you want to tell them, "For your own good, please shut up."

LOL. There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Nope there are only two kinds of people in this world, the ones that know truth when they hear it and the ones that don't!

Back to the OP...In Order For Things To Change, People Need To Change!

So those that don't will be punished simply because god created them without the ability to "know truth"? Odd.

I like it. I like it a lot. In order for the death in Palestine, Israel, India, Pakistan and all over the world to stop we need to change people. Less dogmatic beliefs seems like a very good start.

Here are a couple of great pages of refrigerator magnets!

"Jesus loves you...but the Devil gives you the cool stuff!"

"I gave myself to Jesus....but now he never calls."

"No matter how hard you try....you can't baptize cats."

"Don't believe everything you think!"

and this NSFW gem:

Checked 'em out, Sling. A couple I liked:

"Yeah, like Jesus would own a gun and vote Republican."

"Jesus is coming. Stash your porn."

"People who believe in Hell deserve it."

And of course:

"Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?"
