of WTC7 and things being pulled

1)

Question, in Larry's infamous quote, is it just a coincidence that he said "we watched the building collapse" right after he said "and they made that decision to pull" when the PBS segment Larry was in was about, oh gee what was it about again? Oh yeah, about "World Trade Center 7 had always been considered the starting point for rebuilding."

Oh good grief.

OK try this for size...

Silverstein has a conversation with fire commander.

Commander points out that they can't stop the fire in WYC7 and they are risking the lives of men in this futile attempt.

Together they make the judgement call that it would be better to pull that attempt and concentrate on the rescue operation.

Then they watch WTC7 collapse, thus proving that their judgement was correct because the building could have collapsed with firefighters caught up in it.

They saved lives.

They put the lives of men over the cost of losing a building.

They did the right thing.

Fourth and final attempt, Killtown: can you make your sentence(s) make sense this time? You haven't managed to do so yet.

Ah, that's so sweet. Now can you answer my question about being just a coincidence?

Can you 100% guarantee he wouldn't lie?
can a lie detector guarantee that 100%?

let me answer that: no, lie detectors can be inaccurate, especially when the subject is recalling stressful or traumatic times (such as 9/11)

lie detectors can also be fooled with a little of training

I'd just like to hear it from you. is that a crime?
fine, but im going to assume its because youre too dumb to install adobe reader so you can read the pdf yourself

"pulling" a building is when you attach cables to the side of the structure and use heavy equipment like a bulldozer to pull the structure over

*side-step question alert*
as someone who has never met larry silverstein and probably never will, i will personally vouch for his truthfulness, does that make you feel better?

Ah, that's so sweet. Now can you answer my question about being just a coincidence?

I assume you mean your comment that WTC7 was always considered the start point for rebuilding?

If so, when was rebuilding the WTC site first considered? Before or after 911?

If after 911, WTC7 didn't exist anymore, so why not start there?

If before 911, what is wrong with proposing a redevelopement scheme which included the rebuilding of WTC7 along with all the other WTC buildings. Though I have never heard it suggested that the site was scheduled for redevelopement prior to 911.

Do you jump at shadows?

*side-step question alert*

There goes my unintentional irony meter. Killtown talking about sidestepping a question? You've GOT to be kidding me.

:id:

Edit to add: that said, defaultdotxbe and others have set out some additional legitimatde questions for you here, killtown... why can't you answer them? Start at post #1, read them all, and answer the questions already. Sheesh.

heres a picture of the WTC complex, the blue part is the "main" section, the green is WTC7

WTC7 seems a logical place to start rebuilding, because the main complex would almost certainly be several building tied together with a particular theme or style, WTC7, being off to one side, would would be "just another building" and could be designed and constructed while the rest of the complex was still being designed

despite what your insurance-fraud theorists think, larry lost a LOT of money on 9/11, and im sure he wanted to get some rentable space available ASAFP

Why do you need a lie detector on Silverstein? He's evidently The Worst Liar in the Entire World! Just go up to him and say, 'Larry, tell me some stuff about 9/11' and he'll spill the beans on the whole plot.

Here's the mistake in your logic. Can you see it?

Silverstein was involved in an evil plot. Therefore...
Silverstein was keen to cover up the plot. Therefore...
Silverstein was using the interview to promote lies. Therefore...
Silverstein would have felt under pressure. Therefore...
Silverstein cracked and slipped up. Therefore...
Silverstein's comments reveal an evil plot. Therefore...
Silverstein was involved in an evil plot.

Oh, sasasasorry. here:

"But he did [use/say] "it" which is consistent with referring to what they watched collapse right after the gave the order to "pull"[; the building]."

This sentence still needs some correcting i think :)

Bolding mine

1) Yeah, I heard FDNY commanders are really puzzies and are worried about irate old lease holders.

If you think any urban fire department is going to make a drastic change in fireifhgting strategy without consulting the building's relevant owners/leaseholders, you are very, very naive.

They may ignore his response, but they will certainly inform him.
